What is the best sunscreen for eczema?

I've found this to be the best for my son with Eczema. It is Non-Chemical and also has an ingredient which prevents moisture loss. As recommended for eczema the active ingredient sits on top of the skin to scatter and reflect UV rays.

Pure raw shea butter. It works wonders. I use it for everything, including sunscreen.

I also second the clothing, I have sun hats, t-shirts and light cotton button up shirts for the beach and outings (light layers). Prevention is best, stay out of the sun during peak hours

I have eczema and the best is avene. http://www.aveneusa.com/. I am in Brussels so I don't know where exactly you could buy it but in department stores like Macy's and maybe a higher end drugstore? It is more expensive but it works and then you don't spend a fortune and time trying to break breakouts from using the cheap stuff. I use it on my kids and a little goes a long way

I have a friend whose son had severe eczema and the only thing she found that worked was made by AARBON cosmetics. It's a company that I would compare to AVON but a bit more expensive. She said it was worth the money though and is the best sunscreen for eczema.

I second the clothing option whenever possible. Otherwise, it was recommended by our dermatologist we try COTZ for sunscreen although I'm not clear if it's an ingredient or a product in and of itself.

How about trying Halo's Technical Comfort clothing? It's made for LO's with eczema and sensitive skin and has SPF 30. The fabric is very breathable and soft, and is supposed to keep LO cooler when it's warm outside. My LO wore it today while we were walking to a baseball game and seemed relatively comfortable in the 85 degree sun.

theres a free and clear neutrogena sunscreen, my son has it too he's 2 1/2 .. i havent tried it yet but soon , usually free and clear stuff is key with excema good luck!

My son also has eczema and we use Banana Boat for kids (the spray). He hasn't had a breakout and we use it on him everyday.
