false dna results ??? please help if you have knowledge of dna tests

Does anyone know if a baby has Oral Thrush and was given a paternity test if the results can be wrong due to thrush??
My boyfriend and I went through a pretty rough timewhen i got pregnant and we did a DNA test and the results excluded him from being my son's father. However, my son looks just like my boyfriend and nothing like the "other guy" I am so ashamed and embarased to admitt this but i have to know! My son has soo many of my boyfriends characteristics, the first time i saw him i just KNEW he was my boyfriends, but the test says no. I am still not convinced that the test as accurate, we got it from the internet and it was one of the cheaper ones. My son did have thrush when the test was taken. I have heard that a baby with thrush cannot be tested until after he is treated? does anyone have any knowledge of this>? can a test come back false?

hi im going threw the same thing almost i was wondering could you tell me the out come did you get another dna test done? did you get the same results?

Do you have a planned parenthood around you? They may do paternity testing at low or no cost. Would your insurance company cover a blood test as a paternity test to test your boyfriend and the baby?

there is but i know ALOT are not accredited and are scams. but i can't afford a test at the lab i think they are about 1000 dollars or so.

I still have not heard anything back from them. but I have been doing some reading. Most sites I have checked out, have all said there is no such thing as a home paternity test.

thank you so much!! My mom works at a prison and their doctor there used tobe a geneticist and he said that cannot tobetest with thrush i was just wanting a few other opinoins

I e-mailed a company and asked them, they said someone will answer the question within 24 hours. If you would like I'll send you the answer when I get it. take care, and keep your chin up

my boyfriend acts like father but he is unsure if he wants to stay with me because of this, if the test was true then the biological father wants nothing to do with him. i just really believe that the test was wrong because he looks so much like my b/f and nothing like the other guy. i did cheat on my b/f we were going through some rough times and i regret it dearly but i can't change it i just want my b/f to accept it and move on, if my baby was his it would be alot easier for him, he just can't make up him mind if he can help raise a kid that is the guys' i cheated with,

Ask you ped to refer you to a clinic that does DNA tests. However, thrush is just a yeast infection and the DNA comes from the saliva, so I wouldn't think it would have anything to do with inhibiting a DNA test.

Whose acting like the dad now? And, would he act any differently if he wasn't the biological dad?
