Well girls, Father's Day is coming up and I've got a great idea for a gift to help your kids make for their dad. Last year I did this for my husband.
What I did was get a bunch of scrapbooking papers and went through all my photos and ordered reprints of all my favorite pics that had my husband and the kids in them. Then I had the kids tell me what their favorite thing about Daddy is and wrote it down. Our kids were only 5, 3, and 2 months at the time, so the things they told me were very cute! I typed the sentences up on my computer in cute fonts and printed them onto cardstock. I also had them make a handprint with paint and put it on there (my baby couldn't really do a handprint because of her newborn grasp reflex, so I did her footprint instead!). Then I got a large picture frame, I think it ws 11x13in and made a huge collage with the title "What we love about Dad". It came out really cute and we gave it to him to hang up in his garage. It's funny, he liked that even better than the $300.00 pressure washer I bought for him! It was a cute, inexpensive gift idea for dear ol' dad and he loved it!
