My son is just over 10 months, and is eating table food now. What kind of foods are kids of similar age eating? what is their feeding schedule like? Are they still getting formula/breastmilk, how much/often each day?

I have also noticed a decrease in the amount of wet diapers he's been having. He can go all night and not have a wet diaper in the morning, and he can go 2-4 hours during the day without needing a diaper change. Is this normal? I am concerned he isn't getting enough fluids or something. Any help would be great! Thanks!

My son eats almost everything we eat- he is 10 months. I do not give him cow's milk, honey or peanutbutter. I do give him a varity of fruits and veggies (corn, peas and the brocolli florets are his favorites)...I dice up meats (pea size bites) for him. Make sure you are still giving breastmilk or formula during the day. My son drinks about 28-32 oz of formula a day with rice cereal added, plus his three meals and one sippy cup of 50% juice to water. He wakes around 6:30 and I give him a six ounce bottle. We eat breakfast around 8:30am ex: scrambled eggs, some fresh fruit (he loves watermellon) and a 4oz jar pureed baby food. He will usually take another two four ounce bottle before his nap and one after. We then eat lunch jar purred veggies, a peice of cheese (one of those little cut out cheddar cheeses) and his sippie of juice. He will have two more four ounce bottles before dinner and a snack (fruit or Gerber yogurt melts). Dinner we give him whatever veggies we have, little peices of meat, plus another veggie/meat mix of pureed baby food. He also enjoys mashed potatoes and mashed sweet potatoes, spaghetti night is one of his favorites. Bedtime he takes another six ounce bottle. It may seem like alot but most of the finger foods end up on the floor for the dogs or in his baby seat. I like to indroduce new food and textures to him. But the breastmilk/ formuls is important they should be getting that until they are one unless instruted otherwise by your baby's pcp. Good Luck hope this was helpful.

My little girl is 11 months now she eats everything we eat and through out the day I give her sippy cup of water to carry around. She eats breakfest @ 7, Snack @9:30, Lunch @ 11:30, nap time 12-2, snack after she gets up and then dinner @ 5ish. This schedule works for her really well and I also used to work in a daycare so this is the schedule that most kids her age are on at daycare. She is on Soy milk now since she is almost a year old.
