My favorite thing has to be when she looks up at me when she's done nursing and smiles at me nice and wide and I know it's because she's full, content, and loves mommy and the cuddle time we have while nursing!

I loved the time I got to relax when she was an infant - all I had to do was nurse! It was glorious! Also, traveling for 2 weeks in Europe was a breeze - no extra food to pack and nothing to worry about!

The sense of acheivement as you watch them grow and develop. As they develop those splendid rolls of baby fat behind their knees, blow out their little pudgy cheeks as they blow their first raspberry and develop baby cellulite on their cute tushy, and you know it's all down to your hard work, devotion and love for your baby because you haven't just chosen to nourish them with your milk but give them something of yourself everyday!

The way he snuggles into me with the complete satisfaction and dreamy look on his face.... Then falls asleep, still feeding with a big smile over his face. Priceless, nothing else like it!!

It was many years ago that I breast fed but my favorite was the bonding. I will always cherish the look in their eyes as they looked up into my face while nursing. It also was a great way to ground them when things were hectic around them. I always had a ready food supply and did not have to get up in the middle of the night to heat up a bottle. Did not have to worry about sanitation of bottles and running to the store for more formula. I loved the look on their faces after nursing--they looked almost drugged--they were so content and relaxed. I could go on and on. My kids did not have the ear infections as much as other kids--I think many ear infections are due to allergies to formula or the difficulty in digesting formula.

I can't just name one favorite - there are so many good things about breastfeeding! The convenience (no making midnight bottles or toting formula around), the bonding time, the calories burned toward losing that baby weight, the power to stop a baby's howling in an instant, the list goes on....

It's the quiet moments where it's just me and her and forget the rest of the world. I love the fact that I get to spend that time with her each and every time she needs, to focus on making her the healthiest and happiest little girl I can. It is what I was made to do. There is no extra equipment needed. Just her and I and our little bond of love.

it has to be the closeness to my beautiful baby immediately after birth, the world is so huge and scary and i continue to provide the best nutrition, love and security that no one else could possibly give, it is overwhelmingly intimate and sacred, i still love it to this day xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I no longer need the pillow, but when I was breastfeeding my fondest memories were of the cuddle/bonding time I spent with my darling children. Not to mention it was free and no "prep work" -- unless you were spending time away! Just as long as you packed diapers and wipers you were good to go!

I love the close bond you form between yourself and your baby. I also love how healthy it is for them...my LO hasn't been sick the whole first year of her life except when she wasn't feeling well due to teething.

Of course the bonding is priceless, but I also love the sheer convenience of not having to mess with bottles and formula. It made the middle of the night feedings just that much easier. Also it's great if baby and I are out and about a little longer than planned. I don't have to worry about rushing home because I don't have a bottle.

I breastfed all three of my boys and I loved the way they would look up at me and smile. It was the most sweetest experience for a mom. I also loved the fact that I was giving them something that noone else could and it was the best thing for them. I loved it!

My favorite thing is knowing that I am giving my daughter what she needs and that there is nothing better that I could give her. I only want the best for her. Why pay for an inferior product when breast milk is free. Getting formula is like paying for mr. boston when u can get grey goose for free.

my favorite thing about breastfeeding is all of it..I love the bonding time I have with him, the fact that if he is crying all I have to do it offer him food and he calms right now, the fact that I am the only one who can feed him like that, the fact that it gives him the best start, the fact that he looks up at me when he is eating and he just melts my heart, and the fact that he is big and healthy because of my breastfeed and nurturing. I love breastfeeding (even when he bites me and draws blood). It is the best feeling in the world knowing I am giving something that important to my child.

My favorite aspect of breastfeeding is the connection w/my baby - learning their feeding cues, quirks and in general getting to their personality. Not to mention I can take a power nap if needed!

My favorite thing about nursing is its soothing element. Not only is my son's tummy happy, so is his heart. The warmth of Mama, the warmth of the milk, & the perfect flow calms not only him, but me as well. It is amazing how it is designed to even benefit Mom's nerves. Nursing has been an aid to my struggle with anxiety & has been an absolute joy to share with my sons. (Two weeks with my first, &, so far, 8 months with my second)!

OMy favorite thing about breastfeeding when my daughter is born will be that from the beginning of her life I will do everything I can to give her the best and to keep her healthy and developing and growing into a wonderful woman someday. And to have that bond with her from the moment I have her in my arms until forever.... I can't wait.

I just LOVE the cuddling and bonding and knowing that I'm giving her the best there is. I also like that she knows she can depend on me, which I hope continues in to the future!! I love just caressing her head, arms and legs and being close with her. She's my baby girl!!

Breastfeeding is exclusive mommy time- the only thing that my son's father can't do! Everything else is possible- diapering, bathing, changing etc. I guess that's what gave me extra brownie points!

Basides the bond that it helps to create, I feel confident that I'm providing the best, most nutritious food for my child. I don't have to worry about bottles or recalls and I know I am reducing the incidence of SIDS while I am helping to build up immunity as well.

My favorite part is the look that I get from DS when he's close to me. It's the most wonderful look so full of love and thankfulness that I could just eat him up. I didn't get that with DD because she never latched, I I've got to get it in double doses with DS.

I like just about everything about it! Knowing you are giving baby the best food, the convenience of always having it ready and exactly right and the bond with your baby. It makes you feel very special and important.

well my boy isn't an infant any more he's almost 3 in august, but he still very cuddly and nurses like a newborn, lol Yes i agree with everyone else, many nutrients that he is getting that he can't get anywhere else.

It was one of my favor things to share with my 2 daughters, it was beautiful in all the ways, bonding, knowing that you are giving the best nutrients and the peaceful time that I was sharing with my babies I did for a little more than a year with both I used the pump in order to keep producing milk when I went back to work, I highly recommend to eve body.

My favorite thing about nursing was the one on one close time with my baby. I liked the fact that was the one thing no one else could do for him and it formed a special close bond between us. It gave me a chance to sit, relax and just enjoy my son, it was our time together.

it is FREE!!! But my 3 boys have never had an ear infection and are hardly ever sick. I credit that to NEVER bottle feeding. It is a commitment that I make for kids for 1 year. Short time for a lifetime of benefits!

I love the intimacy I feel with each child. Such a special time to spend with them, each time I feed them! I love not having to get up and fix a bottle in the middle of the night, just pull them in bed. I love how relaxing it feels (feel-good hormone!) while breast-feeding. I love being the most important person in the whole world to my little baby! The face lights up and everything is instantly better when he sees me! I love breast-feeding!

My favorite thing about breastfeeding is that I know my childern have reseived the best. Most of all with my son was sick with RSV from daycare I was able to keep him hydrated and help him get better.

I love nursing smiles. When my babies are going to town eating away and they look up at me and half smile while they keep sucking, it's just toooo cute! I love being there for my little ones by nursing them. They need me and I need them :)

The best thing I love about breastfeeding is Not having to get up in the middle of the night to fix a bottle!! Oh and all the calories you burn each time you feed and the closeness you get with your child, seeing your baby look up at you with those big loving eyes and sometimes rubbing your face with amazement when they are feeding!

I never had to warm a bottle-milk was always the right temp and ready to go. When everyone was taking turns holding the baby I always got to take them back for feeding. The look in baby's eyes while nursing, looking into mine. The fact that breastfeed babies are more intelligent and healthier than formula fed. We never had the cost of formula and equipment.

Seeing my Alec at my breast always give me a reality check. It reminds me of how much responsibility i have for this wonderful life. And after feeding he always gives a strong look of satisfied, healthy and loved baby....which is my " thanks mom".
