If there is swearing or personal attacks-delete it. If people are starting to get upset-lock it. Yes I saw the work at home one too and I closed it and the person sent me a message. I told her she was not allowed to blog in the community-which is what she was doing. Great job by the way.

there you go sharon, thats what I was told to do. DELETE SWEARS, LOCK WORK AT HOME.

The post started off innocently enough. But I saw where it was going and here it is. Congratulations. You've performed as expected by at least 1/2 dozen women.

I made no decision on my own. I was told what to flag, what to delete and what to lock. I followed directions. Katherines directions. Would you like to see the series of PM between myself and katherine regarding my moderating duties? after a few days I decided not to delete or lock anyhting and to let the other mods take the lead. they continued to lock and delete the same type of content I did. If they had enoguh courtesy to let the person know they have been locked ect I dont know. I did extended that courtesy because I for one would not apriciate being left in the dark. If I did something wrong I would like to be told what. I have yet to be given a valid reason. the 2 reasons I was given was

1) admin has recived 7 complaints and they are anoying. she sees no other way but to remove my mod status.

2) the thread I pinned was not appropriate. I only have one pinned thread and that was what circle of moms is and isnt, it was a nice post that recived MANY compliments.  and I did see it was flagged 1 time.  It was removed today after I pointed out that it was still up even though it was "in violation of the terms of the site"  I am unsure still what the violation is and it has not been pointed out to me. My guess, it was a lame excuse for not haveing a reason to remove my status.

Why do I go to a public forum to resolve this issue? because NO ONE WILL TALK TO ME IN PM!

OK, so its important to you, that's great :) I use a treadmill for stress release. Honestly, bitching achieves nothing. My source: life experience. That's all I am saying. I can accept that everyone needs to vent sometimes. But there is not a single thing on any web forum that would stress me so much I had to start a thread to bitch about it. And I have been through a nervous breakdown and still suffer anxiety attacks on occasions. The lesson has been to learn not to take things personally. That's all. Just giving some advice. Certainly, venting about issues you feel strongly about is very healthy. Bitching about others is not constructive.

who is to decide what is important or not? what is important to you may not be to me and vice versa. Venting is a stress release, the group is for venting and thats what we do there.

Melissa, I don't mean any disrespect, but I have had a look, and it just looks like a bitch session over there. It kind of reminds me of the school yard. There are many issues there that could be dealt with in a much more mature way - after all, we are all adults aren't we? Many of those comments could be dealt with privately. I understand people have grievances, but I think bitching about them resolves nothing and is an incredibly non-constructive way of resolving anything.

loureen I was told by katherine she was annoyed by 7 complaints and that's why I was removed. because she was annoyed. she refused to say what the complaints were so I doubt they hold any merit at all. she also said my thread that I pinned when I was a mod about the terms, flagging ect was inappropriate. that's strange because up until I mentioned it the thread was still posted and pined and had several helpful and encouraging tags and several comments that it was a comforting message, beautiful post, kind, ect ect ect. not one negative comment from anyone but yet it was inappropriate. Last I checked the 20/30 group has a similar post , DM has a similar post and there was one in our community. I just made mine a little more poetic. I thought it would be nice to make it sound a little friendlier than the generic these are the rules, follow them or you are out.

anyway the excuses I listed above that I was given are not valid. anyone can make up a lame excuse but if it makes no sense and it is not explained in more depth then it holds no merit. It is BS

i mean no disrespect to you Loureen I cannot say anything about that situation i do not know what went on. Im happy to have anyone around there ive apologised for speaking ill of other members i am planning on removing that post i wrote later when i get soem time. right now im just looking for some good mods really impartial ones that can be fair as i dont want to be the one soley making the decision as i dont want to be unfair. there are a few posts flagged and i need some mods to help me decide the best way to deal with everything :)

No i wont be locking this , there is no reason .
However i have always given reason on the one or two occasions i have blocked someone as has most people including a former MOD who is now making it a mission to speak Ill of Welcome to COM and Debating mums on a number of communities , she has been given a reason why she was blocked .
But thank you Mel for giving her and other mothers a place to vent .
