Anyone have this experience, I know people say I am lucky she doesn't sleep in my bed, she is 14 months and likes her crib, mind you she has slept in my bed.... Has anyone had a crib baby that they coaxed into a bed sharing baby? Or that eventually on their own accord, came into the bed to sleep? Just curious. I prefer her sleeping with me in my bed when I head up north or out of town to visit family.

Ok, yeah she likes her crib, mind you the other night she woke up at 10 pm and I brought her into my bed and she fell back asleep for 3 hours, at 3 hours she started to look around and stir as it was obvious she was ready to get her bed back, so I placed her back in her bed, but it was sweet while it lasted '-)

Nope my kids always only wanted their own space whether it be their crib or a porta crib when we traveled. I wouldn't force it, if she prefers her crib then let her have that.

Nope, my son is two and still can't fall asleep if he's in the same room as someone else. It's inconvenient for travelling, that's for sure. But nice at all other times. :)

Actually yes!! My son loves sleeping in both! But I like him close to me, I can nurse him more easily and I think it's important for bonding, I grew up with a family bed and I want the same for my children!

If he ever wanted to sleep in his crib I would totally support that but for now he enjoys sleeping with us and I know on night when me and hubby want "alone time " he is happy in his room! :-)
