Hi. I will be going on vacation when my son is about 8 and a half months, Can I bring him in an outside chlorine pool.

I do bring him on the beach and he has been in the water a couple of times already.

He got all hsi shots that he is suppose to get already.

Please help me.

Thanks in advance!!

Taking your son to the pool is fine like the others said give him a bath afterwards and lotion him up also try not to get his face wet too much. Let him get used to the water and yes swimming lessons do start around 6 months of age.

Thanks Guys, I was just worried, because people are saying that he can get lung infections and allergies.

I probably wouldn't put his face under the water much, if at all, but IN the pool would be fine.

You can take him in the pool no worries, I would just watch how much you put him under water if you do and make sure you give him a shower/bath straight after to get chlorine off and put some lotion on him too cause it can dry out the skin. I think my daughter was 3 months when she first went in a pool and started swimming lessons at 6 months. Hope you enjoy your holidays
