How do you relieve gas in newborns?

not sure if you mean top or bottom gas? lol for the top try laying your baby tummy down over your knees and rubbing his/her back. the slight pressure works great, my daughter was seriously colicky and had severe reflux. This helped to get some of the gas bubbles up. For the bottom end lie baby on their back, and work their legs gently in a cycling motion, and bring their knees up to the tummy a few times.

did you try gripe water? i know it really helped my son...also he liked when i laid him on his back and bent his legs up into his tummy or laid him on his tummy over my forearm with his head in my elbow...the little bit of pressure really helped him feel better
