im at 34 (almost 35) weeks and just found out my little girl turned around and her head is now up!! does anyone have any tricks for getting baby to move her head back down? my dr gave me a brochure thing on it, it just says to lay with hips at above shoulders (at an incline) but i was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this and been successful?

Gravity is your friend :o) Bounce around (sitting) on a big gym ball if you have one.
You can also deliver a breech baby naturally - typically doctors do not 'like' to do it which is why most recommend having a c-section, but it is not mandatory. Just do your research and find a doctor/midwife or hospital that supports natural breech births :o) Good luck.

i found out my daughter was breech at 34 weeks and tried everything to turn her around, she didn't. I went into labor the day before my due date, went to the hospital and they checked to see if she was still breech and she was, so I ended up having a c-section to have her. She's 2 months old and hates laying down with a passion, has always loved being held up in a sitting position so I'm guessing that's the way she was inside. She just never wanted to be heads down :)
The thought of a c-section scared the crap out of me too. When I found out she was still in a breech position I cried for a good hour. But it actually turned out to be pretty good (although I did end up having an infection during recovery). The best part about the c-section was getting the anesthetic because I had the worst back labor ever. I do warn you though, the morphine they put inside the anesthetic will make you nauseous after. I ended up puking on my way to my room. If you do have to have a c-section just take a deep breath, and remember that you are doing the best thing for your baby. There are so many things that can go wrong if your pelvis hasn't proven a baby can fit through it.

My little guy did the same thing at 36 weeks. He turned back on his own at 38 weeks though. I didn't do any remedies to flip him because I had to have a c-section anyway, but don't worry! Hopefully baby will turn back for you!

try to stand on your fours, i did it every day for few months and my twins were both head down. also avoid leaning back when you're sitting on a couch or chair. i got told if you lean forward or sit straight up baby will turn head down. hope it helps. :)

Great website with some techniques for you to get the baby to flip. There's also a good chance she'll flip on her own by delivery time since she's only 35 weeks.
