Getting pregnant

IS it weird for my boyfriend to desperatley want to get me pregnant even if I have 3 kids already? He is willing to pay 6,900 to untie my tubes so we can have a baby together he said that is what he really wants if he is going to be with someone for the rest of his life. I dont have a problem carrying a baby I kept gtting pregnant off of birth control that is what led me to tie my tubes and plus I didnt want anymore with my ex-husband and my boyfriend thinks he has to suffer from my past relationships what you guys think?

I wouldn't want my boyfriend to be putting that sort of pressure on our relationship. He knew that you couldn't have any more children when you met. If it was going to be such a drama then he should walk away.

When I met my husband I told him I wasn't having any more children. I had 2 boys from my first marriage and he was happy with that. He never pressured me into having any more and it was completely my choice when we decided to have one.

I don't see why having a baby determines if you are going to spend the rest of your life someone or not. Yes there are other ways to have a baby but I'm concerned about the way he is saying that you either have his baby or it's over.

I really don't see it lasting if he is so focused on a baby and not you.

I'm kinda with Jodi here...first investigate the quality of the relationship with the 12 yo, and how his parenting qualities stack up.

A lot of men figure a baby with a new girlfriend will automatically make them stellar parents. A lot of men look for that 2nd family to make up for mistakes they've made (but never bothered to correct) in their first family. I'd hate to see you end up with that.

Plus, I'd go for fertilization, rather than reversing the tubal. They can harvest your eggs, fertilize and plant them into your womb.

In that case, how much has he been involved in his 12 year old's life, and does that child live with you? That makes a difference too. He may see a baby with you as a second chance.

It's normal for your boyfriend to want a child of his own (I am assuming he has no children). So, no, I don't think it is weird.
