Nevaeh (Na-vea-ah) Heaven backwards, My daughters name is Kylie or you can spell it Kylee, Kilee, Kyley, Kiley.

Tristyn, Mikayla, Teryl, Carmen, Crystal

I have 2 girls and their names are Lyndal and Taryn. When I chose these names they were not as common as they are today but we like them. I have a granddaughter whose name is Allyra (pronounced Aleera). We like unusual names. Well good luck with the choosing! I hope this helps. Wendy

I agree w/ Liz Brown. Yes, keep it simple and avoid unusual spellings. Kids LOVE to find their names on pencils, barrette's, pins, pens, Everything. You won't find a "Nattie" or a "Bloom" or a "Veaeda"---but you will find a "Valerie" or a "Hope" or a "Sophia" or a "Stella"---Be sure to post what you've decided on! Personally, I think "Hope Valerie Connell" or a "Sophia Valerie Connell" sound Smooth and Fluid....

Yes, consider the middle name (though I agree Valerie does make a nice first name especially with Connell) but focus on blending well with her last name. Avoid two syllable first names, since there are two in your last, and ones that end with the /l/ sound. Janelle Connell isn't good for both reasons. And please, spell her name reasonably normal. Kids love finding their names on magnets and such. As a teacher, I feel for the Luhneighuh's (Linnea, which would work for you!) of the world.

I really like Shawna too! Considering my name is Shawna Marie. I just had a baby girl in January 2009 and we named her Natalie Alexandra. We are expecting again, due in May 2010. We do not know yet what we are having. We have picked names for both a boy and a girl, we came up with Jordan Vincent(boy) and

Courtney Michela(girl).

i struggled for a girls name because there are so many gorgeous names but then i heard a friend of a friend say 'tianna' and i fell in love with it as soon as i heard it. you could also go on the net and have a look at girls names and see what the meanings are you could find something good out of that! congratulations and good luck!

My fave girl names are Lilah, Sofia and Kacie (my girls!) I think they would all sound good with Valerie for a middle name. Others I like are: Emerson, Ella, Jayd, Ashtyn, Leila, Madeline...just to name a few :)

I personally like to find out what names mean. Valerie means: to be healthy, strong. So find something that goes with that. My three girls are Noelani Michelle, Alana Leolani, and Emi Kulani.

Shauna (shawna) which means Present. Also a feminine form of Sean: Irish variant of John: God is gracious; gift from God.

or Seanie (shawnee) Meaning: Tribal name, Shawnee is the name of a Native American Indian people.

Both are unusual, and both sound good with Valerie either way round was gonna call my baby either name but then i had a boy.

I would use Valerie as a first name! its so pretty! then you can use like Valerie ann, or something simple like that.... Its what ever you like, i want to name my girl Elaina Rose, but nobody likes that besides me and my Fiance. BUt oh well, if we like it thats what we will go with.... you have to call her that the rest of her life, only u can decide! good luck!

I think Elaina Rose is beautiful...i was gonna give my daughter the name elaina as a middle name. Valerie is definitly a first name and very pretty.

Rae Valerie or Kay Valerie or Dawn Valerie---my suggestion is find a one or two syllable first name and say it with the full name such as "Rae Valerie Connell" and repeat them over and over so that the "flow" is fluid. Be sure to practice the "in trouble" call--so it sounds right and comfortable to you...Hope this helps..

I think Valerie is a beautiful name, when i had my little one me and husband couldnt decided what to call her and we picked madison, but i really wanted to call her rose, so we used that as a middle name. I also like darci, evie, sienna and morgan for girls name. But some people said they didnt like them, but all i say is, you choose the name you want. I wanted till she was born, and you kinda look at her and you know what name suits her. Hope this helped.

[deleted account]

Valerie elise, Valerie Eliana, or something like that and then you could call her by her middle name!!!
