I am 32 weeks pregnant and have yet to pick a name for our daughter. I feel like I am running out of time!! Please help!

We like names you don't hear alot, but aren't scarring to our children in the future. Something classic.

We considered Kristen and Lauren. My niece's name is Heather which I love - not high on the most popular list, and a pretty name.

Our daughter is Peyton Elizabeth.. I wanted to use Peyton Grace (after my grandmother) but my hubby nixed Grace. I love it as a middle name. It also sounds pretty with Hadleigh, Parker, Ellison and Kennedy. I like Addison also.

We have Aleasia which is ancient Anglo-Saxon, our second child was to be Bella if a girl but we had four names choosen for a boy. When he arrived he didn't look like any of them so is named Ashton - you'll know when you see her what she should be called! :-)

I wanted to name my first daughter Bradlee. My husband thought it was silly because it's a boy's name. I have not come across a girl or a boy with this name since and she is going to be 16 and wishes I had called her that. The other name I like is Jeslyn.

I found my son's name in the most unusual way ... I listened to him!

While i was pregnant, i knew from the beginning that i was having a boy, I was reading (of all things!) a gardening book and the name of one of the trees jumped out at me, when i said it allowed, a tapping came from within. I said a few other names out loud to check, and nothing! No response! I went back to the same name several times and he tapped away like a little drummer boy.... His name ended up being Bodhi - the tree that Buddha sat under for enlightenment, a strong tree, with great big roots, and lots of shade - metaphorically, i hope he wears his name with strength.

Good luck

I also wanted a unique name when I was pregnant the girl names I had picked out were, Sieanna Rae, Brooklyn Lynette, Apalonia Sky (Apple for short) and Montanna Rain. But I was blessed with a little boy. So I hope these beautiful names come in handy for you. Let me know what you end up naming your bundle of joy! :o)

I think you should ask around about what the names in your family, going far back, to great grandmothers and great grandfathers were. Having a family name is a good story and sounds much better than "We just liked it." when your child asks why she's named what she is. Even people that you may have lost touch with that were your great friends or someone that you admired a lot when you were small.... use one of their names!

I like the name Piper.

I named my daughter Caidence-Jyler. I love it to this day.

My name is Gillian. Some spell it with a 'J'.

Destiny is pretty, Sahara, Shyla, Constence, Tierny.

Pick a name you fall in love with and dont be afraid of what others think, it is your daughter, not theirs... :)

CONGRATS and good luck on a name...

i agree with the person that said u dont have to have a name right away, i didnt choose ANisa til literally the moment we took her home, only because they said she needed to be named. hers was harder because we were expecting a boy and had no idea of girl names...

My name is Magdalena and I always liked my name. The only thing here in the US...... most of the americans do not know how to pronounce my name so I shorten it to Lena!

"Marie Elena, you're the answer to a prayer . . . "  If I were having a girl (which I'm way too old for that), I would name her Marie Elena from the song by that title.

Congrats! I have two daughters, Alexandria Jennifer and Ariel Cheyenne! Good luck with the names especially if you have a mother and a mother in law bending both of your ears pressuring you to give the baby one or all of their names like I did! I chose both names without any input from anyone! Just go with your instincts and you will choose great names!!

I named my twin girls Caroline and Amelia. There are a few Caroline's around but I have only heard the name Amelia once. Good luck and don't worry, you don't even have to name her right away. My friend took their son home before they named him.

Always like the name Ruby. But, my two girls are called Phoebe Elizabeth Joanne & Charlotte Grace Irene. If my third was a girl his name would have been Ruby Isobel Lorraine. I just love it. But we got Henry Walter Mark instead. So, if my hubby agrees maybe one day there may be a little Ruby. Also like the name Violet Sara. Good luck and Congratulations.

Hi and congratulations, I have an 11 year old daughter who has a unique name, its not outlandish but it is unusual, it has an Irish origin, it is Cleona (pronounced Clee-o-na)

She loves her name. Some of her friends shorten it to Cleo. Good luck in your search. Angie

I have a Heather Renee and Olivia-Shea, I also have a grandaughter named Faith Elizabeth and one on the way whose name will be Sophia Grace. Amelia is pretty and so is Madelyn. You want to give them a name that will fit a baby and also a 40 year old woman. Sammy Jo is my nieces name and its cute while she is young but what about when she is a doctor or lawyer? doesnt quite work then does it??? Congrats and Good Luck
