Bio oil. You can find it at CVS drugstore or at Bio oil .com. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and mine have already started to fade.

Well I guess it's just a matetr of your skin...I rubbed cocoa butter on my skin right through my pregnancy...and I ended up with none at all....They say you can do that after as well...

I'm with the ladies who suggested Palmers cocoa butter. I don't use the jar though just the regular cream. If you get pregnant again palmers every day twice will prevent the marks. I used it on my belly and not one mark, unfortunately I forgot about my tush and got marks there. they are fading already and I only had my baby 6 months ago.

My doctor told me that some women are just predisposed to having stretch marks and unfortunately I am one of those women. After three kids my belly looks like a road map lol! Fadin is the only thing that can be done to them other than surgery. I did try the cocoa butter during and after pregnancy but it didn't work...I mean didnt prevent or fade them! So my next try is the bio oil. I've heard very good things about it and definitely will try it.

My sister used nothing and hers faded on her own however I have used both Cocoa butter and Bio Oil and they have help fade mine... the biggest thing of all is TIME. Its been 6 months almost for me and mine are still slightly red and it took my sisters' about a year and a half to finally fade

The experienced moms here tell the truth. Baby Battle Scars don't go away but the fade. With my second pregnancy, the stretch marks just extended. So I found it funny that another mom mentioned you don't reuse them lol. You can buy vitamin E pills (they're gel pills). You pop it and rub it into the marks, or any other scar you may have. It helps fade them but nothing will get rid of the little indentations. Over time, even that may lessen as your skin tightens back up. Just so you know, the pills smell a little funny when you open them but not noticable to anyone once it dries.
Good luck

keep in mind stretch marks that are reddish in colur mean there is still circulation of blood and can possibly be faded ....white ones are "dead " no changing them...i swear by pure vitamin e and bio oil...or if possible ask your family doc to send you to a dermatoligist for lazer treatments???

Dont listen to the lies. My dermatologist said absolutely nothing is going to get rid of your stretch marks except for time. i mean lotion and oil isnt going to hurt but its not going to give you a miracle either. Its been two years since ive had my son and ive still got the indentations, they never go away, the color fades to skin tone but the actual marks never go away, unless you get a tummy tuck or something durastic like that. He even said the lazer treatments dont work that well.

I did the same. Treacy is right...they fade....they don't go away. I also used the Palmer's faithfully when I was pregnant and I didn't get that many stretch marks. I got 3 that looked like dark purple gashes in my belly and one on my hip and I thought they would never go away. I have fair skin and I think that made them look worse. The lotion twice a day after, even now, seems to be working though. The one on my hip is barely noticable and the ones on my belly are pale purple now. Like someone else said, think of them as badges of honor for a job well done!

there is a type of cocoa butter that i used bc none of the other ones worked for me. so far the only place i found it was wal-mart. it is queen helvana it comes in a big bottle but it works.. a friend of mine who is just a big girl and who is has not had kids had bright purple marks and she used it everythime after her shower and they were clear.. you can not necessarily get rid of them but you can make them where they are barely seen. i used it and they are barely there..

There is no getting rid of them, only fading! Have you tried Bio-oil? That has helped fade mine more. Sometimes all you can do it wait.
