I have 9 1/2 month old twins and I wan't to start them on some table food. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions of foods their babies liked and didn't have a problem choking on at this age? I have 2 older children, but it's been so long I've forgotten alot!! lol This time around I also seem more cautious and worried about them choking.

I always start off with vege's instead of fruit. Kids will naturally prefer the sweetness of fruit over vege's.
I started with mashed potato, cooked broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, sweet potato, etc.
By the time my daughter was that age she had to have what we were eating otherwise she would have a huge tantrum. Spaghetti is her favourite as well.

Chunky applesauce, mashed avocado, cottage cheese, yogurt, scrambled or hard boiled egg yolks.
Some moms might not agree with me on the egg yolks because of food allergies. I asked my pediatrician if it was okay. He recommended holding off on using the egg whites until after a year but the yolks were fine. Another doctor may feel differently. You might want to check with yours just in case :)

Cheerios were a staple for me. Along with strips of plain toast. Chunks of banana, peaches, pears, basically soft fruit. I gave her canned in fruit juice since they were often softer. Peas, squash, baked sweet potatoes, for veggies.
I would give small pastas in sauce. Regular oatmeal vs the baby oatmeal. Shredded chicken or turkey, ground beef. I would try small bits of beef and pork with her but she had a number of teeth.
