GREAT AMERICAN PHOTO CONTEST
MOST HELPFUL POSTS

Moms, I know we all think our baby is the next Gerber baby. But don't get ripped off. First the WWW is a big scary place, don't place pics of your babes out there for the world to see or worse to get hurt by someone who is trying to do more than take $50 from you. Also be careful to think that all of a sudden your baby won a prize and you have to pay for it. If your baby won a photo contest, you shouldn't have to pay for the prize. Also check out Ripoff report.com to make sure that this isn't a scam. If they want any information from you, be careful! Take that $50 and get some great photos of your baby at a professional studio. Set up a gallery in your own home. Most of the time these "contests" are scams. I know it's tempting, but don't do it! You most likely won't get your money back, but you might try the BBB to file a complaint. I wish you luck. and don't fall for any traps online. There are dishonest people out there!

I just called some of the local companies that are listed on the list provided and I spoke with a lady and I told her about the GAP using this address and she said that she hasnt heard of it but that the address is a post office box so they might be using it as a company address. She gave suggested to look up MAIL BOX ETC in Tenafly, NJ and I did but there was no Great Americn Photo company listed.

Okay, check this out. Here is the email I sent them just last night:
I was just wondering why when I Google the address provided at the bottom of the voting page, 24 W. Railroad Ave. in Avera, GA, nothing comes up on that address. Is this a big hoax that needs to be provided because this is my daughters photo that is being published and I would hate to think that something else is being done with her photo. I will turn this website and information to my lawyer on Monday, April 26, if no response is sent back.
I just checked my email a few mins ago and received another voting email, BUT this time I noticed the address on the bottom of the page...24 W. Railroad Ave., #139 Tenafly, NJ 07670.
I Googled this address as well and there is such location, but on the side of the map that is provided, there is a section where it lists the businesses that are at that address and there is no GREAT AMERICAN PHOTO on the list. There is an AMERICAN ADVERTISING SPECS company though. I still have not heard from them and I will email them again about the change of location. Somebody needs to say something eventually. I was reading other complaints on this site at the BBB and it is crazy how many compaints there are. But then there a few others that say their baby's won and how this site is real. IDK???

OMG, I just sent an email to them stating that I would like to know if this was a big hoax or not because I Googled the address provided at the bottom of the voting page and nothing came up. I did enter my daughter and paid the $20 for the $250,000 entry charge and I did get the email about the beautiful baby book, but have not sent that payment in. I just thought it was fishy that nothing was coming up on that address. The address is 24 W. Railroad Ave. in Avera, GA. I would hate to think that my daughters picture is being used for something else!!!
