My little boy was born with bright red hair, it then fell out and came back in a light strawberry blonde, now it's a little darker blonde. My father's hair was blonde and then turned very dark brown, almost black. Has anybody had an experience like this? Will his hair end up changing dark as well. Both his father and I have dark brown hair, mines almost black. Any ideas or comment??

Thanks everyone! He's 2 1/2 so I guess we'll see. I wish it would turn dark, it would be pretty with his blue eyes.

My kid is strawberry blonde and both of us are dark. Damo reckons hes the mailman's kid. But both of us were blonde as babies so we reckon he'll go dark.

My daughter was born with black hair and now it's blonde. It happens to almost every baby.
I kind of liked her black hair too :( She has beautiful blue eyes.

My daughter was born with almost black hair by the time she was about 4 months old it was light brown then went blond, Now at 7 she is a dirty blond. I believe that hair does get darker as they get older.

My nephew was born with lots of very dark brown hair which went a sort of chestnut brown and then grew in white blonde. He is five now and is still very blonde so I suppose anything is possible.
