I didn't suffer from prolapsed discs, but I fractured my tailbone (coccyx) when I had my daughter. It was horrible. I had no epidural, and pushed her out very fast. I think that's what did it. It took two months to recover, however I will never be completely safe according to my orthopedic surgeon. I have a high chance of fracturing it again.

im never having an epidural again, i thought that the epidural when i had the kids had caused this problem, but the physio said no,
when they done the epi with my son, i felt a sharp shock go down my right side, since then ive had nothing but problems.........i really do feel for all of you, hopefully someone will be able to find a solution soon.......fingers crossed lol

in my case, surgery made the problem much worse, botox is interesting. you are right about the trigger, gina, they make my heart race too, and that freaks me out. my last epidural injection did not take. i feel for ya'll ladies, this is not a fun club to belong to.

ive been given stretches and exercises to do to see if the problem eases, but the physio sees this as unlikely as i have been suffering since i had my son 4 years ago and the pain has got worse since i had my daughter,
i am in constant pain now and its driving me around the twist, i have disc degenerative disorder, but also have 4 prolapsed discs at the bottom of my spine, which causes pins and needles in my legs and bum, if no change in 6 weeks and im looking at an operation....oh the joy lol

jennifer have tried botox injections they helped me alot when i had regular insurance and also worked for my dr. so he gave me an injection when i needed it whether it was botox or trigger. the trigger sometimes made me faint. and made my heart race. i deal with sciatica.

i have degenerative disc disease, with a rupture at l-4, l-5, s-1, and two flat discs, with a nice dose of spinal arthritis, and bursitis in the hip, and a cracked sacral joint. i have had back surgery, (which i do not recommend) all types of physical therapy. it has been recommended that i have a level 3 fusion, but i have two small kids. aside from pain meds, i am still looking for relief, i do trigger point injections, and epidural injections.

i have degenerative disc disease, 3 ruptured discs, a narrowing spine, and nerve damage and have to be on muscle relaxers and pain pills every day. it sucks cuz i dont have good insurance. i have to pay outright for everything and hope to get reimbursed. this is why i havent had back surgery. im in pain!!! to say the least.
