Yes, we started at 18 months and now my daughter will be 16 tomorrow. She loved Kindermusik and it has had a long lasting positive affect on her. She loves music of all kinds (musicals, Christian, country, top 40, etc.). She is also an excellent math student... which some say is a positive benefit of Kindermusik. My other daughter did not like Kindermusik... mainly because she had too much energy to sit still. A lot of it has to do with how early you start, listening to the CDs at home and in the car, and the child's energy level. I highly recomment it!

I LOVE kindermusik and so does my little Ella.
But if your worried about cost the Salvation Army in most of its community centres (at least across Canada-I am unsure of other countries) offers a very similar program at a much more reasonable rate. I paid $30 for 11 weeks.
Also my library offers a Bouncing Babies for babies under 12 months and a Play time for children older. They run all the time. $4 for 8 weeks. Maybe your library does something similar?

I just recently took my child to a mommy and me music class and I cant wait for the next one. She is a little young but I feel the more I take her the more she will learn, I am pretty sure she had a good time, she was smiling all the time. She just turned 10mo. So I say go for it, its worth it...........
