Is it possible to still get pregnant while taking a birth control pill? If there is anyone out there that took a birth control and still got pregnant let me know please. I have a 10 month old and the last thing I want to happen right now is get pregnant. I think i am being paranoid but, everytime me and my husband have sex, I worry I am still gonna get pregnant again. I would appreciate the help.

that's where my Phoebe came from- I'm in the 2% of people even with proper use the pill still failed. I currently have the mirena because it is compatible with breastfeeding and doesn't turn you into a porker overnight. 15 months of success thus far...

You might try the Mirena if your worried about forgetting pill its effective as soon as they put it in and as soon as they take it out you can get pregnant loved it when i had mine

Yes there is still a possibility i think depending on what pill your on they are usually 97-99% effective if taken at the same time every day

Yes it is possible. Especially if you take certain mediccations with it like antibiotics. It happened to my friend. SHe was taking antibiotics when it happened.

If i could i would have a bunch of babies! I love my daughter more than words can say. She was a blessing. The thing is, we are living on just my husbands income. We are kinda having a hard time right now. We just couldn't afford another baby.

There is only one way to assure that you won't get pregnant - remain abstinent. Since that is likely not an option, try to put the idea of getting pregnant out of your mind and if you get pregnant, celebrate the gift that God gives you.

I got pregnant on the pill but i had been drinking and threw up one morning and i think that's where i went wrong. If you take your pill same time every day without fail and you're not sick,the pill should be 99% percent effective. Use a condom as well if your really worried..nothing gets me out of the mood quicker than the worry and fear of getting impregnated.
