My baby is only 6 weeks old and is up every 2 hours at night. When I put him down after I wind and feed him at night he still cry and also brings up his milk all the time and heaps. He only on my breast for 5 min on each side. He also poos 3 x at night and during the day 4 x or more. Ive mention it to my doctor and he said not to worry as he putting the weight on.. How can I not worry at night it sounds like his in pain :(

I think colic is just another word for "we don't know what's wrong and it will probably fix itself with time", so yes, I think the baby is in pain. :( The colic drops, or gripe water (I got an all-natural raspberry-licorice concoction) sometimes helped my son. Wrapping him up really tightly in a swaddle sometimes helped, too. Nothing helped every time.
My son had colic, but I think there was something wrong with his intestines and the whole process of eating and digesting was really hard on him. (hard on us, too) He was often gassy and it seemed like he was constipated but the poop wasn't constipated poop. It sorted itself out by 3.5 months. It was a long few months, but we survived and you can too!

i used to have that with my first, he would feed every 2 hours day and night and about 2 in the morning he would scream for about 2 hrs non stop in pain!! very distressing, i think it sounds like colic try some drops for colic and it will help a bit, but it wont stop it...my lil boy didnt grow out till he was 3 months old :( but stick with it and hold him on your chest while he is screaming rubbing his back it helps. good luck !! also i wasnt told that when they reach certain ages they will want to suck all night and scream because they are that full it hurts, but they keep doing it to make more milk for their growing body!! when this happens try getting ur partner to take him away from u and letting him suck on something..you need your rest and you both need a break from feeding
