I don't think I would get that done. It sounds very invasive to me, more invasive then getting the tubes tied. Personally though I would not get any permanent birth control methods done on myself because I've heard too many women say every month when they would normally ovulate it's painful, but I have never heard a man complain of any side effects from a vesectomy.
