Have you heard or have you used a "mini crib"?

I have been looking at bassinets and during my search I found a "mini crib". I am super interested in them, however I haven't heard anything about them. So I am asking you moms if you have heard anything about them or have used them personally. Did you like them? How small are they really? ETC...

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

I have a mini crib and I really like it. It wasn't hard to find the sheets for them (for me). It folds down flat and is great for travel if you're wanting to bring a crib with you. Honestly, I leave it at my mom's house for when we visit so we have a safe place to lay him, it doesn't take up a ton of room, and I don't have to lug the pack'n'play all over.

I have seen them the one and only thing about them is it is virtually impossible to find sheet sets to fit them. So you will be forced to just use the mattress bare if you can't find any.

I saw one at Babies R Us, it was only 100$ and quite cute! But my son grew SO fast I wouldn't advise it. I mean really, the most your baby is going to use it for is 6 months even if you have a small kid.

We got one of those travel play yards with the baby basinette and an elevated floor for when they are younger (up to about 25lbs) it has been awesome. He slept in that, and it also has a changing table. When your done using it, they snap off and you have the elevated top for a while, until they get too heavy and go to the floor, which is handy for outings to other peoples houses, parks, and a safe place for your kid to be while you clean. It's awesome. I wouldn't even bother buying a crib until your baby is about 3-6 months old. Then you can decide what would best fit your baby and you, which helps when you already have them around and know how much stuff you own lol
