I am a mom of a 19 month old and a 6 month old. My two sons have been Huggies babies since they were born. I am always looking to save on expences such as diapers, so I always use coupons. I noticed the price difference between the Huggies and the Target brand, and was interested in trying them, however I dont want to waste the money on them if it turns out they dont work as well. I have seen the Target brand diapers up close and they seem like they were pretty good quality. I would love to hear from some moms who have tried them and whether or not they would reccommend them. Thanks in advance!

We've used the Target Up & Up brand diapers and loved them. We cloth diaper during the day but use disposables for naps and overnight. If you're looking to save money, cloth diapering has come a long way since pins and plastic pants.

I have used nothing but Target brand diapers on my son since he was 2 months old, and they are incredible. My husband used to work for Kimberly Clark, who made Huggies. The only difference in the Target brand and Huggies is that Target brand does not have any cartoon characters on the diapers. He used to have really bad diaper rash before with Huggies and Pampers. Once we started using Target diapers, he has had no issues unless he sits in a dirty diaper for a few hours without us knowing. Also, he has slept through the night since he was 3 weeks old and sometimes this is 12-13 hours without a diaper change. He has never had a Target brand diaper leak out. I would highly recommend these to anyone as they save a ton of money. We are due again in April and that is all I will use with my second son as well. Good luck- they are worth a try!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that I (the conversation starter) tried the Target brand diapers. They were better quality than I thought they would be, but I still prefer the Huggies Little Snugglers and Little Movers for my boys. They are just softer in my opinion and absorb more. I'm glad I tried the Target brand though because now I know for myself :)
Thank you to everyone who contributed!!!

i have never tried target brand diapers myself ( they don't have one where i live) but i have tried the teddys choice diapers. you get them at super store or no frills. and they are the best i've tried so far. they go on sale for $6 for the small pack. they fit like a pamper, but are more absorbent than huggies. and they don't give my daughter a diaper rash like most store brand diapers. definitely worth trying if you can.

I have a 2 1/2 year old. I wanted to switch to target brand. I did and he was allergic, he got a rash on his bottom looking like a diaper. But I do have to say I loved them when we started. I am also a daycare teacher, most of my children have the target brand. I love them as a teacher. I have not had any problems with leaks or anything. Just wastch out for any reaction.

I LOVE the Target Brand diapers! I think Pampers Baby Dry work the best for over night (10-12 hours of sleep).

we love, love, LOVE target brand diapers. our first two kids are 17 mos apart (they are now 3 and 2, respectively) and we have baby #3 on the way next month. the diapers did work better for our daughter vs. our son, but by the time i started using them, he was almost potty trained and therefore when he DID wet a diaper, he wet it substantially. they work so well for our daughter that we use them around the clock but we do put two diapers on her at night. i have already started to build a stash of target-brand diapers for our next baby!

I have used Target diapers. I was always a pampers user until my son was placed on Carnitine which causes diarrhea. I liked them for the most part except for bed time! My son is one who urinates a lot when sleeping. So I use Target during the day and pampers at night!

Yes! They work great. Although, I have never used at night. I've been a LUVS users with all 3 of my kids, and started using the Target Brand during the day with my third. I've never had any problems. Both diapers work just as good as the pricey brands. Start using and save your money.

we tired them when our daughter was little and loved them. We are planning on using them again with the new baby.

I have an 8 month old son and I tried the Target diapers with him. They were OK as far as urine went, although he did occasionally leak through them; he's a BIG baby and a very heavy wetter. He did frequently poop out the back of the Target diapers though, that was my biggest peeve with those diapers. I did love the walmart diapers, I was afraid to try them, but was told by a friend that they have recently re-enginered them, and I gave them a shot. They worked great! Right now though, i use Pampers because I can buy them the cheapest at Sam's club and I'm afraid to use Sam's brand diapers because I'm scared they won;t be the same as walmart's diapers (even though they are the same company) and I don't want to be stuck with a HUGE case of them if they don't work. Overall though, Love the Pampers, liked Walmart's, and Targets were ok. Off-the subject though, Target's Formula is AWESOME!

I have two daughter ages 2 and almost 9 monthsand all we use are Target brand diapers. I love them!! They do not leak, they hold together, they do not get mushy like other brands we tried. Plus they are cute witht the green and blue dots :) They are the not only the best buy for the money but I think that they are a really good quality diaper...like I said before they are the only diapers that I buy for my girls and tell everyone about them. I hope this helps!

yes I have, and they are amazingly absorbent. My daughter is 17 months and I have been putting her in them for night and day since she was 10 months. I was strictly a Huggies mom, but I convinced the Target brand Up &Up diapers are so much better. MY daughter doesn't soak through them overnight and they don't leak her messy surprises either. They are definitely worth the 20 bucks a box for their club pack. I get 108 size 5 diapers for that price, compared to like 48-51 per box of Huggies that are also around 20 bucks. Good luck! Hope they work out for your little ones! (it worked for us!) :)

I like babiesrus diapers!! I tried target one time and they leak far mOre quickly than babiesrus and they are the same price. My 16 month old twins wear size 4 and I think it's 120 diapers for 24.99.. Plus, the babiesrus brand don't get that saggy look and squishy feeling when they are wet!

Don't do it! We had to change our sheets more than it costs to buy the huggies! unless you use huggies at night and for that matter every time they sleep - don't use Target diapers! They are awful!

I am a mom of a 2 year old and when she was first born I used pampers, as she got older I wanted to cut back on the cost of diapers so I started trying all sorts of brands and nothing worked... My child would pee through everything then I tried the Target brand and they woeked wonders for me. They were a cost effective alternative to "brand name" diapers and she didnt leak through them, now I sware by them. I do not believe you should pay a fortune for something you use so often. I say try them they worked for me and a lot of moms I know.

A friend of mine has twins (1 boy, 1 girl) and loves them! However, she does admint that she uses Pampers at night or on long road trips. I haven't tried them yet. However, I joined the Amazon mom club and do the subscribe & save for my diapers (Pampers) and have started saving quite a bit (30% per box).

I used Target Brand for both of my girls. I did use huggies for my son, only cause I had to. But when I had my girls & they are close in age, so at one point they were in the same size, i was able to by the big box & still save money

My son is now 4, and we used Target brand during the day and Huggies at night. He would wet through the Target brand at night, but never during the day, so we saved a lot of money by using them. I'm in agreement, save where you can. We are expecing our second child this month, and I've already got the Target brand sitting in the room for his arrival. We will use those until he starts sleeping for long stretches, and then go to the combination again. Good luck and they worked great for us....

I think they are as good or better than Luvs or Pampers, but if you are used to Huggies, you will be disappointed with Target brand diapers.

I have been buying Target diapers for almost 7 years now (3 kids) and would never consider paying more for other brands. I don't even look around at coupons anymore because they will still cost more and Target diapers work just as well in my opinion.

We always used to buy Pampers until a friend told us how great Target diapers were. We have another one on the way and I think he will be wearing alot of Target diapers :)

I love the "Up and Up" diapers from target. I have used them with my child (now just over 2) since she was in size 1's. I also run a day care in my home and two of the other kids use the brand as well. I prefer them over the expensive brands. I think they work better that a good majority of them...they even work well overnight.

With my twins (now 4) we preferred Dollar General's diapers over all the other store brands, it began out of convenience and then continued because we actually liked them better. Best of luck pinching those pennies!

I ocassionally used Target brand diapers with my first daughter. With my second, we exclusively use cloth diapers. I know that's not what this conversation is about, but if you are really looking to save money, cloth is the way to go! You can get cloth diapers that velcro just like disposables, and $400 will get you from birth to potty training with multiple kids. They are soooo easy to use!!

Now that my son is three we use the target brand pull ups at night time, they are also very good quality and very inexpensive!

Yes!!!! I used Huggies for my now 15 yr. daughter when she was a baby. I've been using them for my now 4yr old for 2 yrs. She has CP so she's not been trained yet. That's when money got really tight after I stopped working. I took a chance and tried the Target brand and was impressed enough to not think about even buying Huggies again. Saves me a lot of money!

We give Target brand THUMBS UP! Though, I wish they had characters on them, it makes it easier to change diapers when I can distract with Elmo and Big Bird!
