Have You Tried Target Brand Diapers?

I am a mom of a 19 month old and a 6 month old. My two sons have been Huggies babies since they were born. I am always looking to save on expences such as diapers, so I always use coupons. I noticed the price difference between the Huggies and the Target brand, and was interested in trying them, however I dont want to waste the money on them if it turns out they dont work as well. I have seen the Target brand diapers up close and they seem like they were pretty good quality. I would love to hear from some moms who have tried them and whether or not they would reccommend them. Thanks in advance!

If your sons don't have really sensitive skin, they might be okay. My son for some reason can only wear Pampers or organic brands. We tried the Target brand and he not only got a horrible rash, his skin started to peel off. Very scary. Not trying to scare you from them, my kid is just very sensitive.

Target brand is the only brand I buy now, and for over nights it's the best I have tried of all the brands.

The Target brand didn't work for my son. I tried Huggies and other store brands but kept going back to Pampers. I always bought them in bulk at Sam's. My son is now in potty training mode.

Christine, I love target brand diapers. I've been using them for almost a year with my daughter. I have never once had a leak with these diapers. I have tried other generic brand diapers and was so disappointed until I tried target brand!

Target diapers are great! I feel they have better leak protection then Huggies and Pampers by far.

I love them!!! My 11 month old son uses them and they are absorbent and dont have an odor (like alot of diapers)...It seems to hold better than huggies, luvs, and def. the wal-mart brand...I can let my son sleep all night without having to worry about him waking up wet like he does with all the other brands...I've even introduced them to my sister who has a 13 month old son also and she has fell n love with em n now switched brands...As long as theres no allergic reaction, its def. worth the bargain!!! I only wished I knew about em when my now 5 yr. old daughter was n diapers lol

I have two boys (21 m. & 3 y.) We have tried every diaper out there & Target seems to work great for us. My favorites were Pampers but like yourself, I wanted to save $$. I'm glad to have a found a cheaper alternative that's cute as well!

If you have a Safeway near you they have Mom To Mom brand diapers and they are amazing. I have personally had no leak through and very similar looking to pampers. I have used the kirland(costco) huggies, walmart parent's choice diapers and I really like the safeway brand the best. Also with safeway's diapers you actually can use a size smaller than what you usually use. My son was wearing size 6's in all the other brands but with the mom to mom I actually had to get a size 5 to fit him better. Normal everyday price is 14.99 a box and they go on sale as well as you get coupons from the register quite often.

I have a daughter who is 20 months and a son who is 7 weeks. We have used almost every brand of diaper and luckily, so far, neither child has ever been allergic to any of them. Target diapers have been a good deal for my family but if I'm at the grocery store, I buy their brand too. (Kroger brand is available at Baker's and Dillion's grocery stores...actually, I googled them and they are tied to 16 grocery stores. Go to thekrogerco.com to check for your stores)

I am such a HUGE fan of Target for everything except stuff for my baby. The diapers caused a rash and did leak with my daughter. Their baby products are really a disappointment to me. The bath products are subpar at best. Costco makes a great diaper, so does Walmart and Kroger.

I used the diapers and wipes with my daughter and don't have a single compaint. I also used the up and up formula with her after comparing the list of ingredients and nutrition with the national brand and realized that it was the same thing, just without the branding... dont forget to print out coupons from the target website.

Huggies and Target's Up & Up diapers are made by the same manufacturer, Kimberly Clark. I have been told by KC employees they are the same diaper but I have had leakage issues with Huggies but not Up & Up. I have tried many brands but have found Up & Up to be most economical and of good quality.

My daughter is 19mo and we have used Tgt brand for about a year. We love them! Excellent leak protection, soft, and I like how they are unscented. Even w/out a sale, they are MUCH less than Huggies and Pampers, without skimping on quality. Hope you like them!

all I use is Target brand diapers. They are the only off brand that I have found that work. We can get a case for about $20. About a year and a half ago target changed their brand to up and up, I didn't use them prior to that but then my cousin told me about them so I bought a small pack. It is now the only brand I use. I have found that it is the only off brand that works well. I suggest you buy a small pack (just to see if you like them since everyone is different) and then make your decision. But I will always use the Target brand I don't think I will ever change!!

I have found the target brand diapers are a great product! I think they are every bit as good as huggies and a much better deal. I would suggest them to anyone, as a matter of fact I do! I have suggested them to strangers in the store that I have noticed buying huggies.

Buy them! The Target brand diapers are great. I used only Pampers or Huggies for my first child, then switched to the Target brand for Baby #2. I can't believe I wasted all that money the first time around!

I have used nothing but Target brand diapers on my son since he was 2 months old, and they are incredible. My husband used to work for Kimberly Clark, who made Huggies. The only difference in the Target brand and Huggies is that Target brand does not have any cartoon characters on the diapers. He used to have really bad diaper rash before with Huggies and Pampers. Once we started using Target diapers, he has had no issues unless he sits in a dirty diaper for a few hours without us knowing. Also, he has slept through the night since he was 3 weeks old and sometimes this is 12-13 hours without a diaper change. He has never had a Target brand diaper leak out. I would highly recommend these to anyone as they save a ton of money. We are due again in April and that is all I will use with my second son as well. Good luck- they are worth a try!

I had to watch what I used for my son. (He's 9 now.) I had to use only Huggies, Luvs, or Pampers because he was allergic to anything else.

I just saw this post...My how time flies and we forget. My daughter is 5 now and I forgot all about what I used until I saw this. I LOVED Target diapers until she was older (can't remember the age, sorry), when I had to switch to Pampers (my friend with 4 swore by Huggies but they didn't work for her). Target's were worth it, despite their cheaper price!

im from Australia. i've tried every brand of cheap diapers they sell here and Dri Bots - target brand are by far the best ever. They're even better than huggies ever since huggies got the new shape which is more fitted which just leads to more leaks!

I used them during the day and when we were out and about, and saved the expensive ones for night. The rest of the time, I use cloth and wash at home. Hope this helps.

I didn't use them with my daughter, but when I briefly had a foster baby, who was 9 months old, I bought them and was really impressed. I'm expecting now and fully anticipate using them. Better deal than Costco Huggies and work just as well!

I used Target with both of my girls and they were great...but with my son they caused him to get a rash, but is did pampers, so he only wears Huggies or Cosco brand (KIRKLAND)

We've used the Target Up & Up brand diapers and loved them. We cloth diaper during the day but use disposables for naps and overnight. If you're looking to save money, cloth diapering has come a long way since pins and plastic pants.

Target brand diapers (Up & Up) are my FAVORITE! :) I love that they have the elastic bad above to bottom (so fewere poop leaks up the back) and they hold a lot of fluids for overnight.

I also like Wal-Mart's brand (Parent's Choice), but not as much as Target's. Wal-Mart's has changed and I'm not usre I like the changes very much... You know who else has cheap, but suprisingly good diapers? Kroger Brand. I can't remember what stores carry them, but I was suprised at how good they are!

I used target brand diaper when my son was born he was early weighing only a lil over 5 lbs size one diapes were huge so I bought the newborn target ones and they worked fine...never had a leak or problem i used them for a few months until he fit the size 1. my son is now 9 months i havent used them since only because my grandma buys me diapes all the time so im lucky and havent had to by diapers in like 6 months. However just because they worked for me or someone else doesnt mean they will for you.. My son cant use huggies he pees out of them at night and they are the only diaper that gave him diaper rash. Every baby is different. I say buy a small pack and try.

I live in the UK but am from the states and when my daughter was first born I used Huggies. Everytime we visit family I get the Target diapers because they are great!! She's never leaked out of them or had a rash or anything. I've also tried Wal-Mart's diapers and would definitely NOT recommend those ones...

We used pampers when our son was small, but switched to target brand when he was 18 months. We REALLY liked them. If you watch their weekly flyers they occasionally go on sale and it's a great time to stock up.

Hi Christine! We have been using Target diapers for almost a year with my twin daughters and I wouldnt use anything else! I have used Pampers, Luvs and other generic brand but I havent found anything else that holds as much without leaking as the Target brand does! Hope that helps!!
