My son is 13 months old and he just started bagging his head on the wall, not super hard or anything. I think he just tried it once, and realized it made a sound, so he kept doing it. Not sure if maybe he is trying to seek my attention, because when he does it, I say "no, baby, that hurts" and he just laughs. Any suggestions on what to do to stop him? Any reasons why he might be doing this?

M son did this and my 17 month old daughter does this now. It's nothing to worry about if he's not hurting himself. She is the same way, she thinks it's hilarious. Not sure why but then I never did understand how kids minds work even after 3 of them. lol! Last night she did something new though, for about a half hour she put one of her receiving blankets over her head and ran around the living room. She mostly ran into furniture but hit the wall a couple times. She never hurt herself and just roared whenever she fell on her bum. My son finally stopped when he did hurt himself. Until then try to ignore it. When and if he hurts himself you'll know. =)
