Help going from bottle to breast?

My daughter is 3 1/2 months. She has only been given breastmilk but I started using a breast pump when she was about a week old so my husband could help with feedings. Even then I would only nurse her at night without any bottles. The last couple of days she has started fighting nursing at all. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get her to go back to exclusive breastfeeding?

Keep offering the breast at every feeding. If she refuses... try again in a little bit. I'd probably hold off on allowing the bottle as much as possible... maybe offer the breast every 1-2 hours and only give the bottle once every 4... or something like that (tweaking the times on my idea to fit her feeding pattern as needed).... and as she starts to take the breast more... push off the bottle even longer.



There is nothing wrong w/ exclusively pumping except that it is a pain in the butt and harder to keep up supply. There is also nothing wrong w/ exclusively bottle feeding, but if you WANT her on the breast.... you just have to be more stubborn than she is. ;)

just try the breast first EVERYTIME and when she is just adamant then use the bottle... eventually she will take the breast. but as long as she is eating,, isn't that what is important?
