Thank you everybody for her suggestions!!! I brought her to the doctor yesterday and today. Her imune system has been worn down, and she just has a cold, she doesn't get fevers I have been keeping total control of that. They said I am doing everything I should and she should be better in 3 works. We have been to Children's Hospital also and they are saying the sme thing. Her imune system is just needing a little time to get back to normal!!! Thank you again for all your help and support though!!!

It sounds like her immune system is weakened for some reason and she needs help boosting that up. How old is she? If she's under one, ask your doctor if you can give her 250 mg of vitamin C every single day for the rest of the cold/flu season. If she's over one, ask your doctor if you can give her 500 mg vitamin C each day and don't get slack. Also, give her astragalus drops in her juice or water which can be found at natural health food stores. You can also ask your doctor how much zinc and echinacea she can have each day. Those are two very good immune system boosters. Did she have vaccines? Vaccines can weaken the immune system and maybe she doesn't need to have any more. Research vaccines and decide for yourself. Here is a great place to start http://vaccine-education.com/ I know this lady personally and she knows her stuff! You might also consider seeking the help of a homeopath who can give you the perfect remedy for your daughter which builds her immune system and causes her body to heal itself without the use medicines that can further weaken her immune system. Here is an online book you can read if you'd like. http://www.drdooley.net/Book.pdf I hope she gets better soon. Me and my family had H1N1 and it was so mild because we used all the techniques I listed above. BTW, an adult would take 500-1000 mg vitmain C per day to protect herself and then up to 4000 mg vitamin C per day when she's sick. An adult would also take one astragalus capsule every 2 hours when sick.

im sorry to say but flu vacinations do not work any more theres to many things in the flu vacinations that are killing people do your research if u dont believe me im more of a natural healer theres foods you can eat such as fruits and vegies and certain plants and teas that help extremely well for your immunity health all together i will not ever get another flu shot ever again and neither will my son if dont believe me do the research on flu vacinations and whats in them i wish people would wake up to reality and see that the people who make these vacinations such as the flu shot want to poison us all its part of population control if more people did more natural ways for not getting sick and from preventing from not getting sick more people would live a much longer healthier life a head of them but first step is to eat only organic foods that are natural and gmo free i wish there was more people out there that thought like me but nobody wants to listen to the truth

My daughter's had pneumonia and one was admitted in the Children's Hospital for 4 days, it was really bad. I have since monitored them more closely, its tough though, but it save me a time time and money. The thing i do suggest you do, is to make sure your child is kept warm at all times, please give lots of vitamins, always have her medicines on hand. basically thats my suggestion. And last but not least PRAY! it helps alot.

Tamara, I'm glad she is doing better. I have read all the comments, and I do agree with most of them. I would like to share this with you, my grand child, had been sick for about 3 yrs. She went thru a alot of treatments and meds. The docs wanted to give her more steroids, my step-daughter refused. She was taken to a Chiropractor, the X-rays showed that her lungs were scared, looked like an old mans, with all the coughing she had been going thru. Her neck and back needed adjusting. We had noticed that she walked a little different, we thought she was just being cute. But once she started getting adjusted, her coughing stopped. Kids are so active, their vertibraes are so fragile, we have to keep an eye on them. Good luck

You might want to get a cool air humidifier it helps break up the congestion. It was suggested to me for my kids. Sometimes vicks vapor rub helps too.

I hate to hear that your baby is having so many problems with her immune system! Did you know that many of the products you use in your home contain chemicals that are harmful to yourself and your young one? I work for a wellness company that manufactures wellness and environmentally sensitive products. I would love to share more about it with you. Please contact me and feel free to visit www.LearnToBeToxinFree.com in the mean time.

Have they run a full blood panel to test her neutrophil and lymphocyte counts? You cannot increase the products of cells (boost) in an immune system with vitamin C. The only thing that will stimulate cell production is GCSF. Speaking as a person with a compromised immune system, these are things that need to be checked out if you suspect her immune system is not responding appropriately.
Vitamin C is a very good supplement for those who are ill. When your body is fighting off foreign invaders it uses up all the resources it can and sometimes you need to replenish those resources with extra supplements.

By the way, vaccines DO NOT lower the immune system. They create antibodies against the infection which you are vaccinating for.

Totally agreee with the vitamin C comment below our whole family dose up on it everyday especially when we are getting sick - I have had loads of problems with my 8 year old daughter getting sick and was having no joy with our GP- so we went the natural way ie: homopath. Since going her health has improved I think her immune system is stronger also she stopped wetting the bed - which was great. However I would not use homopath completely it is a different way to look at our children health. Good luck with our baby its horrible when they are sick.

When a baby's immune system is obviously not functioning up to par for whatever reason she needs to be kept away from crowds (Wal-Mart, malls, etc.) & other children until it has time to rebuild. She also needs some sunshine everyday for at least 15 minutes , plenty of rest and a good vitamin with C in it as well as good food with all the vitamins/minerals in it. Doctors can prescibe medications but only mothers can build their immunities. Taking too many antibiotics compromises that system too so make sure she only gets those when necessary.

have they done a swab test to make sure it isnt the H1N1 flu? Has she had a fever with all these symptoms? I presume they gave her antibiotics for the pneumonia? Personally I would take her back and tell them your not leaving until you get a definative answer on why she isnt getting better and what they plan to do.. Hope she gets better soon~
