I have 2 kids, Kevin Emerson, and Michala Grace. I'm having a boy in October and I'm horrible with picking boy names. I want something that will go with James as the middle name. I like Camden, hubby doesn't. Logan is also one that I like....any suggestions?

There are TONS of great names just one word. I ended up with three "A" names, VERY confusing!!! Choose something different than "K" and "M"

You could always look up the meaning of a name you like and then find the name that way! eg a friend of mine who had trouble having children wanted a name that meant God had answered their preyers, so called him Samuel, - which means heard by God. - just for a different perspective. Good luck. I think naming children is the hardest part of childbirth!

I see that you like the 'k' sound and the 'm' or 'n' sound. You've got it in both the other names. What about Conner? That would match his siblings, but they'd all have different initials, which is sometimes important.

Can you use a combination of your name and your husband's name or a combination of your middle names? Relatives middle names?? Logan does work with James. Many people here are just telling you names that they like without thinking about the flow of the name or how the name sounds with the names of your other two children. Say it aloud 1st, 2nd, and last names together. Also say the names of all 3 children together and imagine using it. Think about the meaning of the name also. More than once in my kids' lives, we've been asked about how we named them and what the name means. It makes the child feel special if their name was picked for special reasons.

I've always liked Tristan, myself. Our son is named Tavish Gabriel. If we have a second child, we'll probably name them Sullivan, which I prefer for a girl but is more often used for a boy... But my mother is Irish, so it's nationality specific. If we had a boy I could easily see "Sullivan James" since I love the name James, but I had a long-term relationship with a James so it's not really appropriate.

I love the name Logan because I have a 4 year old w/ that name. I also like the Dakota. If you want to have some fun you could always name him Jesse. That is my husbands name and my last name is Jackson. If you could only imagine how much fun people have w/ that name.

You should check out the Baby Name Wizard site. If you type in a name, such as Kevin, the most popular sibling names will come up. It's fun and could be useful.

Orion is a great, unique name! Tristan is very masculine and different too. I have 5 sons and named them Larry, Johnny, Samuel, Dillon and Deuce. All strong names for boys. :) Good luck!
