my son only watches a few shows-veggie tales, turbo dogs, and 3-2-1 penguins! and i guess they didnt make the fall line up. we are trying to explain that they arent on tv any more, but he has a huge meltdown every night now. any one who has any advice or suggestions on where to find them that would really help!!!!! thanks!

Hulu is great, and if you have a payTV service like DishNetwork or DirecTV or Cable with an option to get their DVR, you may be able to find them on another channel and record them for him. Also, local libraries have copies of things like Dora and Veggie Tales and Lamb Chop's PlayAlong that you can borrow for free. There is always WalMart or other video stores if you want to buy a few episodes on DVD for him. Otherwise, you could watch another kid show that comes on at the times he's used to seeing his faves and get all into it... let him ask you what you're doing... If you're singing along and playing along with the program and he sees you having fun, there's NO WAY he won't be interested in seeing what Mommy thinks is SO fun!

If I remember to when my little girl was four, I think I explained to her that it was time for other kid's favourite tv shows to be on. I told her that her shows were taking a break so that other kids would get a chance to see their best shows and that hers would come back to tv another time. I also explained that things change all the time and it's a good thing to see different shows from time to time. Hope that helps.

I would just pick up some dvds. I know you can get veggie tales just about anywhere but have never heard of the other two!
