If she watches the Disney Channel, I would say anything with the Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montanna, or High School Musical!!

MP3 players are always a favorite for kids, and they aren't that expensive, you can find a nice one for about $15....also Hannah Montana, High school musical, if she has any gamins systems like the wii or anything you could buy her a game for it.

We just bought for a 10 yr old and we got her an assortment of lip balms and at WMart they have these big ornament balls that have bracelets in them and they are sooo cute. My 7 year old said maybe Santa will bring me some.

My neice is in this age bracket--something I haven't seen others suggest that she is into would be Build A Bear Workshop. Gift Certificates work well for this so she can choose her own bear, or if she has a bear you can get it some clothes. They now have an online community that I haven't figured out, but suspect is similar to Webkinz world.

She is also very into anything to do with spa/luxury and the American Girls (not the dolls themselves so much, but their books and other things).

try a magazine subscription for a year. Something like Teen Beat - my 9 year old is obsessed with the teens in those magazines. Plus you get posters in every months magazine. It's cheap - around 20 dollars for a year worth of entertainment.

i have a 10 yr old son who asked for Me2, i had no idea what this was, but looked it up and it sounds like fun!! if she has access to a computer tho. the me2 is access to a website where you create your own avatar and you can earn money to spend in the virtual world by wearing the me2 and running around playing outside, it's like a pedometer. the more you move the more virtual points you earn. i found out that they usually cost about $35 but i found some on amazon for $17!! good luck!!

Do you know this little girl well? I know that most 10yr olds, are into web based toys. Like Webkins. Also, if the parent allows it and there are no allergies... make up is fun! Music, like an MP3 player... or a gift card will work! They like to pretend it's a credit card! The best advice is to find out what she's into! Good luck!

Hi! I have a daughter who is going to be 9. Things she is into...

Webkinz, ANYTHING arts and crafty, books, the big thing around the Pgh area I hear is the comeback of the Rubix cube.

We put together a cute artsy gift for a bday party a week ago. You go to Michaels and go to the area where they have those hard plastic lap tables. There are carry totes. We filled that with crayons, construction paper, wooden ornaments that you can paint, markers, stain glass catchers, etc. The girl LOVED it. And there was a home for all the items as well so...it was easy to store. GOOD LUCK!

Hi, my daughter is the same age, some of the things she likes are; webkinz, hannah montana, definately the arts and crafts (there are some really good books at borders or b&n with stuff like that). An inexpensive camera, they have a hannah monatana one for around 20.00 I think. Magic treehouse book series are good for that age also. I hope some of this helps. Also about the webkinz, I know kids who dont have computers who get them and get online at the library, at school or friends houses, so a computer at home isnt even neccesary.

Adopt an animal. wildlifeadoption.org not expensive, makes a difference, and comes with a stuffed animal and certificate. choose an animal, and she's old enough to get that she's doing something good by adopting an animal!

Miley Cyrus or Hannah Montana are also good. Anything American Girl is also good. There is a REALLY good book by American Girl that talks about the changes that girls are going thru and also about feelings and taking care of your body. That may not be a Christmas gift, but it is GREAT for girls around that age!

Anything, for hair, nails, fashion, and a magazine aimed at girls. You wouldn't even have to buy a full subscription, just pick one or two up at the store.

If you go to Amazon check out the Klutz books. They have a whole range of books for all different ages. They offer crafts and actvities and many times come with supplies. Target also carries a few.

Arts and Crafts! nothing too messy though or with 1000000 beads. (for the parents sake) At Toys R Us they have a HUGE section of little projects. weave your own oven mit, make your own pillow, make your own jewelry, etc.

I'm not sure what to get a 10 yr old girl either, but if you go to amazon.com, you can search for gifts by age range. I've used it and the reviews on there are helpful too.
