hi all iam 39 weeks and 3 days preg and my baby is not engaged yet, iam getting braxton hicks should i be worried that he ant engaged as yet

My son engaged about an hour before I started my hard labor.  I wouldnt be worried!!  Good luck with your little one!!!  Remember the baby will feed off your emotions...other wise if your tense then your baby will be tense and cry more!!!  Good Luck agian!!!

every labor is different. my baby dropped weeks before the due date and i still had him a week late and he was perfectly healthy. i wouldnt worry.

My daughter didn't drop until a few days before I went into labor, and I drank castor oil to help get her there.

my last child wasnt engaged when i went into labour with him, but all was well a few extra pushes were required to help him on his way, good luck xx

If your doctor isn't concerned, then I wouldn't stress over it.  I had BH contractions for weeks before our due date and though everyone was sure he would come early, my son was a week overdue and hadn't even dropped.  They induced twice and still, nothing happened.  We ended up having a C-Section.  Though it wasn't what we planned, we have a beautiful healthy, happy, baby.  They'll get him out.

Congratulations! All of my children did not fully engage until I was actually in labor. Braxton Hicks are completely normal, and I think they are God's little way of preparing for the big day! As long as your baby is healthy, and the doctors see no issues, then I wouldn't worry a bit! Good luck!
