I am always tired. I am on minerals and vitamins and I started exercising again which did give me some energy. I also have no sex drive. I think I am way too young for this to happen.I have sleep apnea but I have a machine for sleeping, but I never feel like I get enough sleep. Does anyone have suggestions? Thank you

Yes, definitely get your thyroid checked. But make sure if you do that you have them check, not just your TSH level, but your free T3 and T4 AND to see if you have anti thyroid antibodies. There are two; antithyroglobulin and peroxidase.) Most dr.s will not check those and your TSH can come back within "normal" range but if your immune system is slowly attacking your thyroid (hashimotos disease) then you could have damage and your numbers may be low for you. I was diagnosed a few yrs ago with this right before I had my first baby at 42. An integrative dr. Put me on a gluten and casein free diet and after three months the antibodies went away. Anyway, a lot of info I know. But you sound like me. Tired all the time no matter what. Its worth looking into. Wish you the best!

Hi Kim, sorry that you are experiencing this. Honestly, your best bet is seeing your primary physician about this and any other symptoms you are experiencing. I've heard of symptoms like these ranging from depression to Lupus, so my advice is see your doctor. Best of luck!!!

Have you ever had your thyroid checked? I had the same problem and found out I have hypothyroidism.

Make sure your mask is fitting properly. Blood work for thyroid and anemia yes, but also for estrogen levels! Could be pre- menopausal changes! We are at that age!
