It is normal. I have an up and down scar. It has been over 16 years and I still get pains in it. Especially during winter seasons or rainy weather. I sometimes feel tightening or sharp pains going down the scar and if i rub it lightly or put warm blanket on it. It helps.

My scar has always been tender, but when I got preggo with my second it was very sensitive. Could you be pregnant? Either way go see your doctor. You may have a lot of scar tissue build up that is bothering you.
