My daughter's name is Delores. She was born July 10, 2008. She was also born with a cleft lip and palate.

hi ruth i know she will eat if she is hungry but i tell you she can go for days without drinking much she drinks maybe 50mls per bottle . i wish i could have breast feed her but her palatte restricted her from doing so .i need to keep her hydrated cause everynow and then her nappies come out dry . my first daughter was the same but she was constipated all the time so i didn't want that to happen this time around

Hi Stacy, If it helps my son jordan feed well, he even breast fed for 2 months. I know its tough to deal with but if she is hungry then she will eat, if you have anymore worry's please ask.

hi ana i was just wondering did your daughter have many problems with feeding .Lillie has this problem for a about a week in each month she just doesn't want to know about her bottle it's tough because i have to feed her with a syringe to get her to drink anything

My son Jordan was born with just a cleft lip. He had his op at Salisbury hospital, at the time is was the most terrifing time of my life. Now 4 years on I can't believe I was that stupid. I have even spoken to a mum who's daughter has a cleft lip just like Jordan's and her op in a month, and she feels just the same as I did, and it was nice to be able to say that there is nothing to worry about, I hope she takes in the things I said to ease her mind on the day.
