It's not just girls, when my little boy hit six he also went through an awful stage. We thought it was due to tiredness or school but never really got to the bottom of it. He seems okay again now so it must be a stage i think. They start mixing with older children at school and seem to turn into stroppy teenagers!

My daughter is five and is exactly the same way. She is exhausted and overstressed I think from the daily routine of school and not enough sleep despite me puttting her to bed early

my daughter is only 5 but has already had this change too, so I'm thinking it's normal. She was always a good girl, always happy, now I'm constantly fighting with her and she's always saying how nobody likes her and throwing fits. I sure hope it's just a stage and it passes quickly.
