I don't think its anything to worry about. My daughter used to get hiccups when I was pregnant with her all the time. I found it kinda cute... like she was saying, 'I'm here mommy!'

My little boy got the hiccups all the time during the end of my pregnancy. I watched him hiccup once during an ultrasound and the tech said it was a good sign because hiccuping is practice for breathing. He still gets the hiccups at least once a day, if not more.

My daughter used to gulp so hard at her bottle that she gave herself the hiccups all the time! She still does it but only rarely now. I let her ride it out - she didnt get grizzly about it and I thought it was very amusing and cute.

yes...it is normal! My son got the hiccups EVERY night after I had dinner...he would keep hiccuping until I went to bed, and then it would take a little while for them to stop. He is 15 months old, and he still gets the hiccups almost every evening...sigh...I love him so much!

For Kristin, it could be that she is gulping down air with her formula/breast milk. Your not doing anything wrong that just how some baby's are. My son hiccups to after he eats. I usually give him a pacifer after and it seems to stop them.

It is normal. Newborns get them a lot too. I have tried giving my baby gripe water to help with them.

When I was pregnant my son seemed to have the hiccups all the time! It was very annoying at night when my whole belly would shake. :) But, if you are concerned or feel something is wrong call your doctor. It's better to be safe and it will help calm any fears. But it is very normal for babies to get the hiccups when they are in the womb.
