I am looking for a good book to purchase that has recipes for homemade baby foods and possibly a schedule for introducing them. Anyone know of a good resource?

I second Elisabeth's recommendations! I use www.wholesomebabyfood.com a lot! The Williams-Sonoma cookbook is also known as "Cooking for Baby" by Lisa Barnes -- I bought this book from Amazon.com and it's GREAT! I really think these 2 resources are all you need. http://www.amazon.com/Cooking-Baby-Whole... (Oh, and a BPA-free ice-cube tray!)

(And, personally, I think Sharon's posts were really rude -- I think that most of us knew that you were asking for some quick recc's from "mamas who have been there" instead of trying to sort through a bunch of google results and Amazon reviews.)

Thanks everyone! I have made a few recipes that I found online but these suggestions should keep me going. I really appreciate all the feedback.

http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/ this is an awesome website and Williams Sonoma has a great baby food making book as well!

My little girl is 2 and has never had a jar of baby food, I made everything for her from day 1 (her 6 month birthday!). It is really easy to do if you have a food processor. Making baby food is so good for them and so much cheaper than all those jars you would have to buy!!

Annabel Karmel! Its like my bible! It shows you foods from first purees through to todler. Its amazing, it gives you really good ideas, and combinations that you would never think to put together. I swear by it and would 100% recommend it. x

OH and try Amazon.com - alot of their products have reviews offered by individuals. (books too, have reviews)

I think your best bet is to hit your local bookstore then search for a book that appealed to you online for the best price.

OOPs - have you searched for a forum about that here on CoM? This place seems to have it all.

I guess I should have specified that I was looking more for personal reviews on ones that other mothers actually have used/liked in order to scale down the possibilities. Thanks for your response :)
