How about Circle of Dads?

hehehe thanks all for the responses loved them all they all made sense..I suppose that would be true it would be empty cause Men in general aren't feeling sharer's excuse spelling and grammer..anyhow that would be a good idea is to have a thing where dads can ask anonymous questions..like how daddy's can ask how do I put up with my hormonal wife or fiance. LOL

Maybe a CoD's would be empty but I know my hubby would love to have more support for dads. He's a very hands-on dad, always doing stuff for and with my daughter. It was hard for him sometimes to take her out alone because there were no changing stations in the men's bathrooms, no quiet places to give her a bottle, no other dads at the park, etc. But we're never going to get dads more involved with their kids if we don't give them credit when they step up like that.



Maybe what they need is a site where dads can ask anonymous questions of moms, like How can I take better care of my pregnant/just delivered wife? :)

Dad's deserve their recognition and some play huge parts in their kids lives. I know a few single dad's. It's just irritating that society doesn't see the need to support and help dad's as much as they do mom's.
I've seen a few posts since I first joined CoM's about a CoD's being started but as far as I know no one has done so. I know my own hubby wouldn't use it but that's him. He uses the computer only for looking up info and shopping online. lol. He prefers to go to his friends with kids and rant, ask for advice, etc. Guys do share their feelings with each other but I've found it's only with someone who is a good friend or else a female relative or their partner. I know my hubby's friends come to me sometimes to for help with kid issues when they can't figure it out amongst themselves. While I don't mind helping either I don't know everything, no matter what they think. lol. My hubby has even come home from work going... so and so wants to know how they can handle (insert kids name) because their doing (insert problem).

I think it's a good idea in theory but in reality there would be no questions posted because men...well, most men, don't even like to stop for directions because they don't want people to know they are lost...they probably wouldn't want "the world" to know that they don't know what they're doing with their babies either.  So the Circle of Dads boards would be empty because they just aren't social creatures like we women are lol!

I think ur fiance is very warmhearted, congratulations to you, my fiance probably wouldnt want to talk about anything!! he thinks he knows it all already!! ha ha! but they do play a huge role though, my girls love thier daddy, but I do most of the work I'm a stay at home mom so thats that!, congrats to all the ladies who have men like hope who would think to ask about a circle of dads thats soooooo great!!!
