No such thing!

If you want to do the best for your children then read books, ask other Mothers and trust your instincts.

Motherhood isn't that hard if you use common sense and ask for help if you need it.

You'll be a better mom when you realize nothing is perfect even moms, and you'll children will enjoy you a lot more when you realize it too! You can only be the best you can be, if you don't feel your a "good" mom, take a parenting class, and surround yourself with other "good" moms who you can use as role models for what you strive to be. Just remember though what works for one child doesn't work for all children so don't become frustrated or disappointed when something doesn't work for you.

Then you need to read, research, and observe other good mothers and their methods.

You will never be perfect. There is no such thing as perfect, unless you're religious, and then the only perfection is the Entity.

You can be the best mom that you can be, and that, my friend, is perfect, as far as it goes.

I won't add to Dove & Holly, they've about covered the 'nitty-gritty'.

Ditto Holly. There is no such thing as a perfect mother.

There ARE many ways to be a good mother though. Learn your kids, know what they need, and do your best to make sure they get it. Appropriate food (which 'can' include 'some' junk), shelter, clothing, education, medical care, and love (not necessarily in that order). Kids need to know that they can't always get what they WANT, but they can depend on their parents to always be there for them and love them... even when they screw up (and they will).

you can never be a perfect mom! there is no such thing! but things that good mom's do is constantly challenge your baby, when they are learning to talk, try to teach them colors and shapes, in your native language and in a second language as well. teach them manners, (always say please and thank you, always wait your turn, and NEVER EVER be disrespectful to anyone, especially to adults) also only serve healthy food, never give them junk (don't even introduce fast food). but remember that you will make mistakes, and so is your child, learn to forgive and forget, for yourself and others
