Buy a body pillow! The best sleep aid I ever bought : ) And get your nights and days back to normal.

get used to it lol! i think its just natures way of preparing you for the next 2-3 years of attempting to sleep. Try a good pregnancy vitamin, i am taking elivate at the mo and i am not tired at all during the day so i can get lots done and then wear myself out so much that i am asleep the minute i am in bed! (I am currently in my 30th week of my 4th pregnancy)

If you find something that works, let me know :). I am 31 weeks pregnant tomorrow and sleeping is not happening anymore. Mostly because I can't get comfortable and baby is extremely active at night--which is normal (when you are walking around during the day you are basically rocking baby to sleep, when you stop, they wake up!). I had pretty bad insomnia with my other pregnancies, so this is nothing new to me....but somehow, you forget how much it stinks to not be able to sleep. Sigh. I try to get to bed early (like 8:30-9:30pm) and read until I fall asleep. I am up 3-4 times a night at least. However, I don't nap during the day (as if my other kids would let me!). If I do squeeze in a nap it makes the nights WAY worse. At least baby will be here in a couple of months :). Congratulations on starting the biggest (and best) adventure of your life!

Yep Benedryl is safe during pregnancy. I took it for a hormone itch with my third (8yrs). My oldest daughter (21yrs) couldn't sleep with her first either & her Dr. recommended she force herself awake during the day or only allow herself a 2 hour nap during the day so she was tired at night. Your schedule will determine baby's not the other way around. Best to get him on the schedule you and hubby plan to keep. Congratulations & Good Luck!

Sleep in the last trimester doesn't happen much, my son was always kicking me in the middle of the night and I was so big I couldn't even get out of bed without help from my husband, Just think that in a few more weeks you'll have your new baby in your arms and all the sleepiness will be worth it. I also had horrible heartburn so that didn't help.
