how close to your due date did you deliver?

My first was 5 days early, my second was 7 days early, my daughter was induced on her due date (she had been breech for at least two weeks before that so when she was head down the doctor wanted to induce before she flipped again!). My last they say was 3 weeks early but I think the due date was wrong as he was the same size as my other kids.

My daughter was 3 weeks, 6 days early. My son was 3 days early. I had polyhydromnios (sp), it is too much amniotic fluid, causes me to go into preterm labor with both, decided at 35 weeks to go off the meds, I had the steroid shots for her lungs, so let nature takes it's course, water broke at the 3 weeks and and 6 days early. She was preemie, but born at 7lbs 6oz, My son preterm labor, they stopped the labor, and body wasn't going back into labor, 1 week before my due date, dr, said baby was too big to deliver, needed to schedule c-section, said, no way, my great grandmother delivered a 14 lb baby, said you can induce me but NO c-section, unless it is an emergency. So, induced, 22 hours later, son came, and was 9lbs 8oz. He did a work on me, so will probably be my last. :)

I delivered 9 days earlier than my due date. Everything went perfectly. Natural water birth in a tub. First baby.

With my first son Jordan,he came 7 days late,and with my second son Jack he came a day late,both by c-section.So hoping our next(A girl,fingers crossed)will be on time or alittle early 8-)

I delivered my daughter three days before her due date. Her birthday just happened to fall on Father's Day! His first Father's Day present will always be the best.

All 4 of my kids were born between 40 and 42 weeks gestation. No early birds! None of them were born on the actual due date though......

My oldest was 4 days late. I went to the dr for my final visit before being induced and my water broker right there in the office. Labored for 3 hrs and pushed for 10 minutes



My 2nd came right on his due date labored 6 hrs pushed 8 minutes



And my 3rd was 4 days early labored for 2hrs and the dr didn't get her gown on in time to catch on the 2nd push

I was due the 15th of Jan. I had my daughter on the 9th. I was induced because I had high blood pressure. I wanted her to be early, lol. We wanted a new years baby so that she could have been her Grandpa's birthday present but ya that didn't happen, hahaha.

All three of mine were born two to three weeks early. The first was induced roughly two weeks early, the second came three weeks early, and the third was about two and a half weeks early. And they weighed 8 to 8 1/2 pounds each, so they were more than ready to be born!

My oldest was born the day before his "due date", and with my youngest, I was induced due to the fact that I was dialated 5 inches for 2 wks prior. She was scheduled 2 wks before her "due date".

My due date was on August 25 and gave birth on August 7 at 7:52pm. Close to 17 hours of labor, had no idea how my life was about to change...been loving every moment since.

first daughter - due 11/12/06. I had gestational diabetes, so atmy 40 week appt. they told me i could go in any time to be induced. They don't want you to go past your due date in fear of a large baby. I was induced 11/8/06 in the morning and she was born vaginally that night... exactly 8lbs.



second daughter - due 7/27/08 I also had gestational diabetes but she came 3 weeks early. The night before my regularly scheduled appt, I started having light contractions. Went to the doctor and I was 3 cm and 70% effaced. So, they sent me to the hospital and she was born that night, also vaginally.



Both girls are great!

My oldest son I delivered 4 days before my due date, it ended up being an emergency c-section after being in labor for 36 hours so I scheduled a c-section with my second 1 week before the actual due date.

My daughter was 3 weeks early; she was due on my father's birthday (Feb. 7) and came Jan. 18, but was a healthy 6 lbs and we went home after 2-3 days in hospital.

my first son jarren was 10 weeks early,ad really bad pregnancy,he was due july 26th but decided to grace us with his pesence on the 14th of may,we naerly lost him a few times,he had to stay in hospital for 2 and 1/2 mth until we cud bring him home,and then my 2nd son harrison was was 6 week early(im obviously not very comfortable lol) he was due on april 29 but came on the 15th march,he was allowed home after 2 week,they were both very little,jarren was 3lb and harrison was 4lb10oz.........both boys are now doing great,jarren is still small 4 his age but all the best things come in small packages...there now 9 and 5...and im the proudest mum in the world.

Our oldest son was born two and a half weeks early, I had to be induced due to preeclampsia. Our second son was born on his due date. I was scheduled for a c-section that day at 4 pm and ended up going into labor at 1:30 that morning and he was born at 11:00am that day. I didn't end up having the c-section, they ended up giving me the option to have him vaginally and I took it, I was terrified of the surgery. (the reason they were gonna give me a c-section was because he was showing up to be a big baby in ultrasounds. He was 9lbs 13oz 21 and a half inches long at birth) Our daughter was born three days before her due date. I ended up having a c-section with her because she was showing to be 9lbs 7oz at 36 weeks so my doc was afraid I would have a 10-11lb baby. Imagine my surprise when I asked how much she weighed and it was 9lbs 13oz 21in just like her brother. I could have had her vaginally, but oh well, it all worked out for the best and they are all healthy, couldn't ask for anything more.

I was due on October 29th...And my water broke on Ocober 7th and I had her on October 8th. I was 36 weeks and 6 days when my water broke and I had her when I was 37 weeks, and no days.. I was so happy all I wanted to do is have her when i was 37 weeks and no earlier. But its funny cause I had just left the doctors and he had just scheduled me to get induced the following wednesday, and when I got home my water broke. So I guess she was telling us that Nobody tells er when to come out lol... But she was born on October 8th, 2008 weighting in at 5lbs, 13oz I love my daughter Nayomi shes my first and only lol

My son was born 2 days late, i was induced bc i wasn't showing any signs of labor, he hadn't dropped, no contractions or braxton hicks the whole pregnancy. I was put on pitocin at 6am july 23rd and 12hrs later, after only dialating to a 1 they took me in for a csection. My contractions that i was having, instead of causing the baby to move down, were causing my son to move up into my ribcage bc my pelvis was wayyy too small for him to fit. He was barely 7lbs. Needless to say, he was due july 21 and i had him july 23 at 635p

My daughter was born at 25 weeks, which was WAY to early. I had preeclampsia and HELLP Syndrome, so she came at a small 1 lb 6.5 oz. I'm hoping when we decide to have another one, he/she will be MUCH closer to the due date.

My son was right on the due date ( after 39 hrs of labor and being sent home and sent to walk around the hospital) He's now 17. My daughter who is now 12 was right on also (after only 9 hrs of labor.. had no pain meds with her but did with son)... go figure!! I did love my doc tho he's a great man.

my first daughter was duethe 5th december i went into labour at 7am on the 6 th and had her on the 7th at 1.30pm.my second was due on may 11th and i had her on 13th at 10.15 in the morn only started labour at half 7 the same morning lol x

My daughter was born on her "original" due date. The first pre-natal appointment I had, the doc gave me an outdate of Sept. 11th. As the pregnancy went on, they changed the due date to September 23rd due to her grown and such. As it turned out, my water broke in the early hours of September 11th, 2002 and she was delivered at half past one in the afternoon. Beautiful labor, if I may say so myself!!! :) Sorry! :) So...depending on which estimated due date you go by, she was either early or exactly on time!! :)
