Gwen has permanent teeth growing behind her loose baby teeth....I know they need wriggled to come out but she won't do it & pitches a fit when I try to wriggle them. I tell her she will have to have the dentist pull them out & that doesn't seem to work....any suggestions?

My oldest daughter had a problem with her teeth not getting loose enough to come out on their own. I had to take her to the dentist with all of her teeth. She had roots on her baby teeth as long as permenant teeth. She has had to get braces. My other daughter hasn't had a problem with hers. You should try letting her eat sugar daddys...they will pull them out really quick. Good luck!

I agree with Dianne, have her eat an apple. When I took my daughter for the same thing her dentist said not to worry about it that it would come out on its own, and evenutally it did.

Have her eat an apple but the downer is she might swallow them so just have her bit it and take a look to see if there are any teeth.

Whatever advice you decide to take I pray its the right one, but I personally don't think the permanent teeth will push the baby teeth out because I have seen too many people with a double set of teeth. I highly suggest you talking to a dentist.

dont worry they will eventually push those baby teeth out. if you are worried have her eat an apple. it will work them looser.

My daughter had similiar problem, those baby teeth would not loosen, she lost her first 2 teeth by having the dentist pull them - we do not have dental insurance it cost us $500! Her next one fell out eating toast! Good Luck
