HOW DO I DRY UP MY MILK!!!!!!!!!

I used cabbage leaves right from the fridge....the large leaves and coldness helps. I would do this this 4 to 5 times a day. It is weird feeling, but the relieve of the sore, hard breast is worth is. Also take some advil or something you use for headaches/aches...this will help take the discomfort away.

Cabbage leaves, no hot water from shower, and no simulation of your nipple. This includes from your bra or shirts. You should leave your bra on as much as possible and as tight as possible -- only remove to shower. It takes a while. You will find that it also tries to come back a few times even with this. But it will work eventually. If it doesn't, you can go to your doctor and request a shot that should help finish it off.

I tried all the remedies to dry up milk and only 1 think worked. Everytime I would take a shower(and always a shower NOT A BATH) it is ok if it is warm, massage your breasts and get some of that milk out then lather them with BAR soap, preferably ivory or dial and rinse and repeat for about 10 days and I did it like 3 times a day! but massaging and getting alot of that excess milk out really helps. Also buy a sportsbra about 2 sizes too small and just make sure to use extra pads and in about 10 day s you should be good to go!

Cabbage leaves in the fridge!!When they are cold it helps with with the swelling. Advil to also help with the pain. My doctor also told me to put 2 sports bras on,helps them from not engourging. Hot showers help to release some milk but not enough for body to replace what was lost. I think it took me like 4 days but also I didn't BF very long.

I have used the cabbage leaves, works@@ Use them out of the fridge and pack into your bra, they have huge leaves just to cup right over your breasts. The cold feels good and should help you dry up in a couple days!!!

The Dr's are reluctant to give medication, but if they're getting uncomfortably sore and stopping you from day to day living, there is medication to assist in drying them up.
The more they're touched, the longer it will take to dry up.

Sage tea as well. Dried sage leaves from greengrocer.Put in cup and pour hot water over let it steep and drink.

i did the cabbage leaves as well - but my dr told me to wrap a towel or sheet tightly around them under my shirt, the pressure will make you feel more comfortable and help to dry you up

Don't touch them at all if you can help it, don't run the water on them in the shower, you may need to hand express a tiny bit to make yourself comfortable, but the more you touch your breasts the longer it will take. You can also get some tablets from the doctor to dry it up quickly if it gets too bad.

i used cabbage leaves, sounds weird but put cabbage leaves on your nipples and after using them for a few days your milk will have dried up! works fairly fast too
