I have a two year old girl and a 5 month old boy I am trying to potty train but she is not interested. my brother's daughter is only 1 and a half and is allready fully trained and trying to even wipe herself when she potties but I just dont know what to do to get it started I have the potty and ready I just dont know how to get her started if anyone has any tricks that they care to share I would be most appreciative.

The way i found easiest when i was training my daughter as well as helping my sister train her daughter was to put the potty in the bathroom (across from the big potty if possible) and everytime you go in to use it bring your daughter along and put her on the little potty while your on the big potty. After a couple days she will understand the concept of what your doing on your potty and she will start trying to do the same thing on her potty. After 2 or 3 weeks she might start trying to do it on her own. My daughter was still in pull ups during the night for the first month of training but it only took about a month and she was fully trained.
