How do I potty-train a 15-month old baby girl?

She is already 15 months and I have not train her to use a potty. I tried to encourage her to sit on her potty when I noticed her poo poo expression but she would refuse to even poo. That shows that she has the ability to hold it and it seems like she is ready to use a potty but how do I start? I know she will run away from the potty. I tried a few different designs and shapes but to no avail.

you don't. 18 months - 2 1/2 yrs is the best window. they aren't teachable at such a young age of 15 months. they recommend that she can pull up and down her own pants, goes off in a corner to poop and can take off her diaper by herself. these are all signs of readiness. is you're putting her on the potty and she's refusing you don't want her to start holding it in, that only causes pain for her. don't interrupt her time it will only confuse her and cause other problems. she isn't holding it in on purpose, she's been interrupted and is getting frightened.

Im sorry but I have 5 kids and in my opion that is WAAAY to young to potty train. Kids are cognitively NOT ready to put all the pieces of bladder control together. If She wants to sit and you want to praise her for that I think that is good for now. But They are unable to put together, oh i have to go potty, and then oh i have to hold it while i get to the potty and wile i get my pants down. And then ok now i can relax my bladder so i can empty everything. If she seems interested, just let her sit and give HUGE praises. But wait till she is AT least 2 - 2 1/2 before you even attempt to train her.

I personally think 15 months is WAY too young. I know some people are more ambitious about it than I am and try to get their offspring potty trained before they can even walk, but honestly, I would wait until she's quite a bit older.
