My little boy is 20mnths old and is toilet trained through the day, still has a few accidents but only little ones he runs to the toilet as soon as he needs to go, as for going out an about i put him in pull ups. At the momoent he's still in pull ups for bed.
When should i start doing the night time training and how do i go about it?

Yeh he's waking up wet most mornings we have had a couple of dry nights and he has been waking through the night but doesnt say wee as he does when he needs to go, he just lies quietly in bed untill he goes back off to sleep!

My pediatrician told me not to rush it...he will start when he is ready. My daughter went seven nights w/o wetting her pullup so I decided to put her in underwear. She has since only had maybe two accidents in the middle of the night. We work on making sure to go potty right before bed and as soon as she gets up. My son is still working on it but he is pretty close. He is having accidents maybe once/twice a week at night...and he is four.

Does he wakes up with wet nappies or not. Does he wake up at night if he does need to go? These are usually the signs of readiness. Because the night is less controled, unless you are up for waking up evey 2 hours or so to take him to the toilet, there is no rush. Osnat http://maaslife.blogspot.com/
