Hi - I'm looking for some advice please. I had been breastfeeding exclusively until my LO was about 7 months when I transitioned to formula. It was tough as she hadn't been used to a bottle but we got there and now she is exclusively on formula. However, she doesn't drink much of it during the day (I also mix with oatmeal twice a day) and therefore wakes at night. It's been going on pretty much since I started switching her to formula and I'm exhausted! Plus she's had a cold this week and she suffers from reflux which seems to have been worse because of the cold. Anyway, I don't get up to her every time she wakes and she does got back off to sleep on those ocassions. Because she's not drinking enough formula during the day I feel I need to feed her during the night which I why I get up if she cries for too long. I have been monitoring what she drinks during the day (10 to 12ozs) and at night (somewhere between 6 and 12oz). She has her 9mth shots next week and I think the Dr. is going to be concerned about the amount of formula she's getting. She is on Zantac (for reflux) and takes Poly-vi-sol every day. She's developmentally fine I think (standing and cruising around the furniture and saying mama and dada and clapping and waving) and is a happy little girl (if a little chubby!). She got her 2 bottom teeth through by the time she was 7 months. No others yet but she does ocassionally seem to be in pain with her mouth. Other 9mth olds I know of seem to be sleeping through the night! I know every baby is different, I would just like some sleep! Help please!
