How do I stop torturing myself for not being married yet and having someone around for my 14 and 2 yr old?

The two year old will accept someone, but 9 times out of 10 the 14 yr old won't. So you're ok with on extra person in the picture. As long as you have a strong male role model of some sort (Grandfather) it will be ok.
