How do you get to shower ?

I have a 1 month old daughter and Im not sure how im allowed to shower when im home alone with her. How do other people shower with a baby ???

I'd imagine during a nap or while she's in her crib. I wasn't alone all the time with my daughters (ages 1yr and 7yrs) so I would always just shower when I had someone else in the house.

When she naps, I can either take a shower, take a nap, or clean. Otherwise, when she was that little, I put her in her bouncer and put it in the doorway so she could still see me and I could still see her. Got in a quick 5 minute shower.

I wasn't home alone w/ my infant son, but the only other people in the house were my 6 year old twin girls... ;)



I used to stick him in his bouncy seat on the bathroom floor. A lot of the time he would start to cry as soon as the water turned on, so there were many, many days where I could only manage a 'hair, pits, and privates' wash... lol



You could wait til she's napping and stick a monitor in the bathroom w/ you. It's actually a lot easier at 1 month than when they get mobile and nap less.....
